Me too, that was a huge wicket and doesn't seem to be reflected in the odds.Make that 2 wickets in 3 balls!

Backed SA here at 1.56 WI well under par, Lendl Simmons innings could be the difference. 144 should be gettable even without De Kok.
And out with SA at 1.04 with 8 overs to spare.

@bob the only match so far that’s Redded me was the WI v SA match and cause it’s I made an assumption that bat would dominate and I was looking to build green in the first dig and go from there. I didn’t take into account exceptional captaincy and 4th grade batting. The match is the match.
England not SA hope I didn’t just jinx myself

@james-woodroffe
Yeh makes sense! Thanks for the response will look to do the same! -
@bob I never ever pre determine how I think a match will pan out especially T20 cricket. I’ll just sit back and watch how it unfolds especially in the first innings which can be a lottery.
Like to have some idea by the 15th over but that’s not always a given. -
Been enjoying the word cup so far this week… not really financially..but as a spectator. Some interesting match ups today. Anyone got any strong feelings or opinions on either?
For me gotta take SA over WI based on their opening matches with SA only just losing out to Australia. Although surely WI can’t bat as badly as against England.Anyone see it differently?

Lucknow and Ahmedabad granted the licences for the two new IPL franchises from next season.
The two new franchises both cost over USD 700M
not that long after CSK have been valued at over USD 1 billion.
Still head scratching to see how huge the IPL has become in just 13 years.
Will be interesting to see how they go seeing that Pune and Kochi were not able to last. -
That’s now more like the Sharjah we know and love. The deck is finally batted in after re laying.
Will be interesting to see if 180 becomes a bit more of the norm. Cooler nights now in the Emirates and of course the dew comes into play. -
@jonathan-busch I had a half stake at start of innings and was going to give Pak the over after the drinks break before reentering but Babar was so good in that 11th over I didn’t get the chance. Really impressed by Pakistan. I liked them before today but needed to see something first.
-
Held on until the 10th over before backing Pakistan at 1.50
I had WI as an outright...These pitches may be more suited to Pakistani batters than WI batters
-
Backed Pakistan at change of innings and glad I did. 2.44 chasing 152 was great value when you consider Pakistan have arguably the best opening partnership in the tournament bat deep and called the UAE home for over a decade. This was the match I was hanging for and saw what I wanted have backed Pakistan at 5.50 outright to win the tournament.

Take back what I said about SL.
Bangladesh really do disappoint in these tournaments SL always turn up.
Happy to take the point green and move on. -
Suddenly Sharjah starting to play a bit more familiar to what we are all used to.
Greened up on Bangladesh but now on SL.I’ll just shut up now.
-
Have backed Bangladesh in this match v SL entered half stake at 2.08 with Bangas 0-30 after 4. Entered the other half stake at 1.61 with Bangas 2-83 after 11. Looking at letting this run hard to post as you go with cricket. I feel that Bangladesh are far superior to SL and SL are not playing Namibia or Netherlands again this tournament.
-
Happy start to the T20 World Cup after a bit of a break.
Backed Namibia at 1.66 with Ireland 6-110 in the 18th and closed out when Erasmus put Singh back over his head to get Namibia to 1.02 in the 18th over of their chase. Just under 1.5 points to start the tournament let’s hope we all have a green one.Fitting that Namibia won today and qualified. Along with Scotland clearly the best of the associate nations and Ireland have lots of work to do re 20 over cricket.
-
Very interesting to see Namibia hit over 9’s in a chase of 165 with their 3 most destructive and experienced batsman still to come.
Wise and Erasmus turned this match on its head within a few overs and Namibia were never going to be fully out of it with those 3 (Smitt being the other) in the middle or in the shed.
