@Stuart-Wallace Initially looked well ahead and saw days 4/5 in some rain threat but seams to of eased a fraction, hoped for a market stuff up and draw to high but seems on the mark early . I'll be in touch with my old man whos close ish to the city get a brief on weather . radar as per be greatest guide
I suspect when footage first shows pitch we'll see mass green . draw could spike however maybe chances to back to lay draw if gets too high when green wears off and potential for batting to become easier (non more so when NZ beat ENG after being forced to follow on-thought would bring that up ha) so .., if any rain forecast on or from the middle days say 2/3 draw could become real
..
A def early watch / observation of play before entries me think -
@Stuart-Wallace market is up now, draw comparable to the NZ test.
Does anyone know much about AFG or IRE in tests, or this UAE pitch?
If weather holds, seems unlikely both sides can bat for 5 days. I'm guessing the AFG spinners could be quite dangerous?
-
NZ v AUS at Wellington on Wednesday - LTD looking low(in comparison to recent matches) at moment at 6ish. Could this be down to possibility of Rain on days 1 and 5? (however, most Test dont reach day 5 nowadays). @Nathan-Bennett you're the Kiwi expert.
Just 1 draw from last 10 games at Wellington.
Is Kane W fit?
The market for next IND v ENG game is up on BF , however, the AFG v IRE Test this wednesday isnt ! EDIT: it now is and LTD currently 9 -
Managed to get lay on India at 1.02 - out at 1.1.
However, also managed to turn an overnight big Green to a medium Green when i lost my nerve at 3 down - could have been worse, i suppose.
But, a Green is a green. I've struggled with trading the IND v ENG Tests (whilst being very profitable with the white-ball stuff, paradoxically), and this is probably my first green of series! -
Yes on the low low IND lay
This is awesome
Taken a truck load back after that 5th wicket
Free rolling plenty
Green up if Eng 1.2’s ish -
India have to be worth a little lay at 1.09. Nothing much to lose and plenty to gain if the ball starts to behave as it did yesterday during the morning session.
-
@Stephen-Hancox yeah and you know India will be short odds unless chasing 400+
-
Yeah quick wickets have shifted things again in India's favour. If we can dig in and get as much over a 200 lead as we can then we may still be in it
-
@Stephen-Hancox hoping England can bat a while as we will get a nice lay price on India if so, not that hopeful though!
-
last few wickets have put India slightly on top now. So I'm just sitting tight now. Plenty of twists to come I reckon.
-
England are in a decent position here with that 1st innings lead. With the lead I've just entered a few times with England priced over 2 and removed liability when hit under 2.
-
Beautifully poised here. Might need more heroics from Root to win this one though.
-
India out to 3.5. Excellent stuff.
-
@Richard-Futter crazy price considering the current conditions and 300 being a decent score
-
Been good markets this morning. Original lay of India at 1.74 touched 2.5, before coming back to it's base level. On day one the draw actually shot out to 75 at one stage and is now trading at just above 6! Shows how much things can change in Test cricket, and you can't always judge a pitch by its appearance at the start.
-
Managed a lay of India at 1.2 at lunch then removed stake at 1.45. My thoughts were that if I miss out on the India price going up even more then the LTD could come into play. Will monitor that early tomorrow.
-
@Richard-Futter agree surprising odds really! 300 not the end of the world is it
-
India drifting out to 1.72, so despite that first session, no real harm done today. With India having to bat last I reckon England are in a much stronger position than the odds suggest.
-
Unloading full bank lay IND any sec
Suspect market may respect this potential ENG total and drift before ball one day two
Hopefully ha

1.71 launched -
Root smart batting = runs
Not hard
