    England are so poor...

Focus changes to the SA game. I fear I may have entered too early at 2s but I've learnt not to panic thanks to all your help, so I'm ignoring the red number and focusing on the action. Of which there will hopefully be an hour or 2. Fingers crossed.

Me too Matt, theres a lesson learnt in not to LTD until you've seen the weather forecast on the first day - schoolboy mistake i will never do again ! Unfortunately, that now means i am staring at a huge red , and dont know what to do with it - any suggestions?
BTW Cricinfo saying that they are only going to plan an extra 30 mins per day now at end of play. - so, in total about 4.5 hours will be lost overall.
I'm hoping (obviously) that India go for it in first session (unlikley) - maybe first hour of second session, if then SA are 5 down by end of day, then i would hope they are still 300 behind, and still a big hill to clime, thus raising the draw price accordingly.

Wouldn't be so hard on yourself mate. It's not that bad. I say I went in early only based on value, I had seen the forecast and knew there would be some play missed but that often helps us as can lay the draw at a more appealing price.

I wouldn't worry about your red screen. See how we are looking after a few sessions tomorrow, test cricket can change in any moment. Every chance there will be green on the board in the next 48 hours or so.

I thought they were starting 30 mins earlier as well?

I hope so, and thats what normally happens in SA, but can only find a reference on Cricinfo for 30 mins extra at end of play.

odds currently 1.52, will wait for the first few overs tomorrow to see what the odds are. Ideally under 1.50 if possible.

Good time to Lay the Draw in SA V IND?

Next two days look clear and sunny mate. Despite the loss of today still plenty of time for a result.

@matt-ayles I'm in the same boat, another lesson learnt 😟 Playing the long game though, still a lot of cricket to be played.

Fell asleep on the couch woke up in time to see Oz bowled out for 267. Liability removed looking for Oz to get out to 1.60 before greening up. So far similar to last year v India.

    Small
BACK to LAY DRAW after Lyon wicket
Long term expectation AUS score millions and ENG try a repeat of Adelaide and can full flip and then LAY DRAW lower odds
If doesn’t happen always got a void covid market on your side ha

IF and its a big IF, England can somehow bowl us out for around 300 they get themselves back in the test match and a little light at the end of the tunnel. I'm not convinced England are that bad I personally think that some of them are tired. I can't remember a captain since Alan Border possibly Brian Lara who's had so much pressure on them to score and put their side into some semblance of hope. If the England bowlers can stand up today who knows.
