Small draw lay at 2.54 in Galle to hopefully grab another points green. 93 overs for WI to survive on the final day.
-
1.54 SRI looking back full bank lay was req massive green light situation
anyway never greedy ha
starting to drip lay draw square book up a bitsurely a Declaration coming up 3-325 lead
-
Rahane Jadeja and Ishant are all out for India with a huge ? over Williamson also in Mumbai.

Looking for pre match earn
LAY IND 1.73
10 -12 ticks be nicetook 4 ticks
doully scared me
kane might not play -
@richard-futter good for me as I backed the draw based on the initial weather reports. Those reports got better over the duration of the match to my annoyance and so I'm riding the draw price down now. Looking to get out at 1.8ish hoping for 1.5. 2 results possible now SL win and a draw, however WI have struggled with the ball to take the remaining 2 wickets. I think SL will equally struggle, they will be hoping for the windies to help them out.
-
Have an awful feeling SL will carry on batting tomorrow; after all, a draw suits them just fine. Even so, they'll probably be confident of bowling out WI in five hours.

This could be a stupid question but I'm intrigued.
If SRI are still there at stumps, is there a time by which they have to make an overnight declaration (if they wanted to of course)?
So in the morning, can they wait until 15-30 mins before the start of play to change their mind to mess with the heads of WI and put them into bat at short notice?
According to law 15.1 a captain can declare any time the ball is dead... it doesn't mention anything specifically about it being within the playing time or outside of stumps... so good question!

So I think that SL need another 30-40 runs to make absolutely sure. The highest successful run chase is 268 so a lead in this area would be the time to declare or get bowled out. Its going to be an interesting day tomorrow. If wickets fall quick early door then WI will prob go defensive and play for the draw
-
another sound profitable test
am laying some of this 1.54 small like 15% of my green .., 2's would be great
-
Wickets falling fairly regularly now. Angelo Mathews can't run but he could still come in and crack a few boundaries. Anything above 200 will be tough for the Windies on the evidence of how they batted here in the final innings last week.
-
SRI have packed up before lunch
The usual draw market training in taken. Some 5’s WI
Focus now over to draw lays
Might hold 5-6 overs after lunch -
It's all a bit of a slow crawl in Galle, but that does mean the lay of the draw is coming back into play. The West Indies are one down in the series, so they're pretty much guaranteed to go for the win however many they're set, and batting here on the final day won't be easy for anyone. The weather now looks set fair for the rest of the match, so anything around 4 or less would be very good value.
-
Just got home
Take 5 on a WI lay it seems for me
and backed a little on draw to make that best result for now
could go low pending SRIs over all lead and time at creasewicket ha
-
@dan-peacey agree bat bat and bat please for trades sake aswell ha
and abit more on draw as best result for now not the worst if that scenario happens -
Baring in mind that SL dont have to win this match, their equation is simple, occupy the crease for the whole of tomorrow trying to score 3 an over. That will give them a 267 lead. The Highest run chase here is 268. Dont fancy WI to get 267 on the last day. I think that SL wont get 3 an over mind, so they might have to bat into Day 5 if possible. Easier said than done as both teams have had batting collapses in this match already.

annoying run out and another close to stumps
no wordsgood time to square book
go again tmr

@nathan-bennett I’ve removed liability now with a nice green sitting on SL if they bat well and an ok on Windies. Tomorrow at work should be quiet but I removed in case it wasn’t. Made a meal of day 5 in India v NZ as jet lag came on fast and undid a lot of good work so being cautious this time around with so much cricket on the horizon. As you said could be a lot of swings and would love it if SL have pretty much wiped the deficit off by stumps no more than 1 down.

mountains time left in this test
if draw approaches 2.0 at all could be a decent layhoping solid start SRI with bat and not have to sweat my book too much ha remove liability when WI get around 5's
will have an eye on SRI run rate / wickets as get towards knocking off deficit
and importantly partnerships go along way to determining if WI have a shot in this or not come 4th INNSmany swings possible
Hoping the same regarding the draw. I've squared my book for now.
