how hard does batting look IND SA early
-
Looking forward to a cracking match at Newlands. I'm pretty sure whoever wins the toss will bat first - despite overcast conditions to start with - and their price will shorten.
Only one match has been drawn in Cape Town in the last 12 Tests, so I reckon the draw price should be much longer than the current 4.8 odds. As ever, though, I'll be looking at the early exchanges before deciding whether to lay the draw early or whether to wait for even more generous odds.
The weather looks set to be dry for 5 days and it's going to get very hot, so batting last could very well be extremely difficult.

Chance of rain on day 4 , so, should Latham decide to not enforce follow-on, may come into play in BAN second innings (assuming NZ bat again, and get lead of 600, to put BAN back in again before Tea), however, unlikely to change outcome of match.
I'm already sitting at 88 per cent green for my LTD, so , may Green up if Latham decides to bat again, else i will just let it run expecting a result by end of day.
One factor is that this is Taylors last Test, so a lot of people saying Latham should bat again.Ive greened up - currently running at 93 per cent for my lay, so taking this, and releasing my liability.

BTW Kohli is back for third Test.
ive had a cheeky back on India before it becomes common knowledge tomorrow morning. -
@stuart-wallace handy to have close contacts there!

This mornings BBL game between Melbourne Stars and Adelaide Strikers was a simple trading game, both sides were a little out of sorts, started poorly and were saved by middle order. Stars just made it in the end keeping the run rate just in sight but just at the rate that the market wasn't too sure so lots of volatility towards the final 3 overs, perfect to trade.
Looking forward to the 3rd SA v IND test tomorrow, how is everyone feeling about the draw lay?
It's trading at around 5 at the moment, 25 tests here in the last 20 years with only 5 draws, none of which were weather related.
South Africa have a great record at Newlands and everything to play for in this series with it currently being 1-1 this should be a great test!
Weather ok for Cape Town, but will get a daily morning update from my kids who live in CT.
As mentioned before, the latest first class match there had a first innings of 650+ with 3 centuries, but then Simon Harmer proceeded to take 10 wickets, so, will likely take spin later. Check out the team news first, as can see SA especially going in with 2 spinners, with maybe Olivier being dropped (commentators were saying he had been Countyised, as he was bowling much slower after his 4 year stint in England). -

NZ result the most predictable ever in Test cricket? Always thought 1.27 was incredible value given the gulf in class between the sides; the Kiwis were never going to take Bangla so lightly a second time.
South Africa-India part three tomoz. Can't wait!

@nathan-bennett
as you say, wicket to BAN but no movement in market ...to be expected. -
Conway only played 4 tests, but now has average of 80.
They are 360 off 92, so will be looking at 600 by tea, scoreboard pressure will tell on BAN, so i am gonna lump on draw lay
