Both difficult games to trade in the BBL today in my opinion, I managed to get a trade in both but finding value was hard work

    trading the U19 WC today?
Favs have to be AUS (v SL) WI (v Scotland), and Pak (v ZIM).

In the few games that have been played so far, in virtually every game there have been very early wickets, so i will be trading for the bowling team early, and then try to get some value from thereafter early.

Amazing i noticed today with the Perth v Brisbane BBL game there was approx 50 million pounds traded . Of what i remember, about the same as the Test match !! - all in 2 hours.

@nathan-bennett I'll probably do a breakdown of it on my podcast today but when you look at the factors it's such an easy value play.

    1. 4th innings of a test chasing nearly 300
    2. Eng Not chased over 200 in 60 years in Aus
    3. Eng have lost 3/4 test matches in Aus this past month or so, the other one they only didn't lose because of Aus bowlers running out of time.
    4. The pitch was lively and tough to bat on
    5. Eng are awful at batting

the only way this could have happened is if Oz bowlers took their foot off the pedal, which did cross my mind when -Burns and Crawley seemed untroubled, but then reality kicked in.

@nathan-bennett I layed England at 5.1 and topped up at 1.75, like I said at the time it was one of those value plays that if it loses you take it on the chin but I will always side with history. In the end they didn't even actually get close!

i got in at 3.5 , which is when i mentioned on this forum that they were incredible value, and had no more money left in my bank to top up after - thus this is how i increased my bank by 50pts - ok, not the way that one should be looking after ones bank, but the 'opportunity' was too good to resist.

    BAN all out for 97.

A few England players have stood out....
Boyden - opening leftie quick ...think Starc
Horton - keeper ..took 6 catches ...immaculate behind wicket
Singh - left orthodox spinner, great action. think Vettori.

I traded out at 3 down on BAN, and switched, and now showing a nice little green.

Ok, i thought, to cheer myself up, its ENG v BAN in the U19 World Cup today, so i can sit back, have a glass of wine, have a trade on ENG for once and see them beat BAN comfortably.
Then i checked the H2H, and saw that BAN have won the last 5 at this level ! - doesnt that say something !?

Oh well, at least i can cheer myself up by looking at my Betfair balance after the Test. Must admit i did lump in on the last 2 days for laying ENG ( i know, i know i shouldnt be doing that), and ended up with win of approx 50pts in the end - must admit was getting a bit twitchy when Burns and Crawley were going well !)

Must admit, after seeing the H2H, BAN look good at 2.9, with ENG at 1.5 !!!

ON thinking about it and doing more research and finding BAN are the current World Champs (i was surprised), i think 2.9 is bl00dy good . Gonna have a small lump on BAN . I assume they are packed with spinners, and i noticed in the previous games that spinners were the winners, i am gonna go for this.

    BAN currently 7-3 off 8 overs !!
Are they sure they've got the right shirts on? - is it not ENG batting really !?

Pretty healthy total posted by Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka still odds on, can’t see that being an easy chase. If you turn the Betfair live feed on make sure you turn the volume down as the feedback is horrendous.

No entry from me yet but hopeful I’ll get a decent trade in this match.

but it presented us an easy opportunity 😄 odds on to lay and not chased 200 in Aus is 60 years!
