In these shorter format matches, how do you guys decide what point to green up? I had a lay of Eng, currently sat on 1.5 green out of a maximum 5 points return... when should i look to green?

Over to you, Nathan, you've been doing this a lot longer than me !

Personally, i find T20's to be quite a challenge trading, as the swings are huge, and fast, and the feed delay is also disconcerting (anybody got any ways to mitigate that?).
I suppose the obvious one to answer is that if 1 side is clearly winning, then i will let it run if i am on green side, and get out asap if on losing side. Like today, it was clear after 11 overs of Oz innings that they were going to win, so i just let it roll. However, when it gets tight, i tend to err on the bowling side knowing that a wicket can make a big swing. When there is a wicket i tend to green up as close to the perceived top of the range as poss.
But, as i said,, each to their own style.

Coming back to the feed delay, i am wondering if it will be beneficial to actually trade at the game? If, for example, you could trade real-time, you would def be 'fastest finger first', and beat the 5 second (10 seconds if watching on tv) Betfair delay.
This summer for example, if you lived in the South of UK, then you could possibly be at the Oval for a 2pm 20/20 game, and then Canterbury or Ageas for a 18.30 start. Any thoughts?

    @nathan-bennett thank you.

I've greened up for 2.8 points (pre commission). Probably won't touch it now as looks at the moment like a comfortable Aus win...

@matt-ayles when too many dot balls start to happen around the 1.4 range .. no exact science mainly feel
if a trades going well lets say bet 100@3 to win 200 i would be thinking myself to green with more than 100 profit atleast double investment styles
    or remove red

here i've started to back ENG drip out

    Something for the battlers
IND BACK @2.2 all red out 1.55
Look to green as game progresses 1.2-1.10 ideally

SA about 10-20 runs short here methinks.
Highest run chase at Paarl is 250 , however, not many ODI's played here.
IND seem a bit under-par by their body language, so might look at Lay IND to begin with, and then check out Kohlis first couple of overs before possibly Backing IND.

just backed IND 2.2 will again if the smash late is good for SA

Yeah, see what you are saying Nathan, however, after my big loss yesterday with SL v ZIM, i am a bit loathe to back a team chasing over 300(likely). Might look to lay IND to begin innings with usual early wicket, and then Back IND once Kohli comes in.

With the SA v IND ODI currently being played, wicket started off slowly, but seems to have got a little quicker . India currently at 2.2 , and they prefer chasing anyway. SA not playing with Rabada, but with 2 spinners - although Ashwin has done very little so far. Think this might be a total that IND could chase. Kohli is also playing, but with Ashwin at 7, IND have quite a long tail.

With games like the current one where there is only one winner, and has been since about 10 vers of first innings.....how would you trade it?
