Tomorrow, its WINDies v SL - now, SL have a player called Wellilage (or something like that!), who has taken 5 wickets in both games so far. I would suggest, if you are watching to lump your money on when he starts an over you wont be disappointed - even if you just scalp his bowling. He's a left arm orthodox spinner but is clearly a serious talent (he's also their captain, and bats at 5 for SL).

3 U19's today.
ENG v UAE
PAK v AFG
BAN v CANI have layed all the dogs (ie, UAE,AFG and CAN) - odds that surprised me a little , although i knew the AFG one would be close.
Expecting ENG to smash UAE ( 2 wins and 2 losses respectively so far)
BAN should beat CAN
And i take PAK all round to be a far better team than AFG (AFG struglled with their batting v UAE to put up a reasonable score).Hoping for 10pts return from all three. Gonna obviously keep a close eye on them. ENG will be live on Sky, whilst i will also watch PAK v AFG on Youtube. BAN should take care of themselves, especially as they know they have to win this in order to progress in the tournament as current champions.
All going well at the moment (famous last words and all that), Pak made 239 on a turning track, so i would expect thats worth prob about 260 on normal track, currently in a small green on that one, but needs monitoring. Apparently PAK have an opening bowler who is the dogs Blx, so might look to potentially trade out if he takes some early wickets. The other 2 showing healthy green, and dont look like being challenged - gonna let it run.

Afghanistan seem to have another Rashid , in Ahmed being a left hand version.

@stuart-wallace ENG,PAK and CAN all won their respective tosses, and all chose to Bat. PAK already lost a wicket, and ENG making sloooow progress (8-0 off 5)
And now 27-0 off 7 !

@nathan-bennett thank you.
I've greened up for 2.8 points (pre commission). Probably won't touch it now as looks at the moment like a comfortable Aus win...
I ended up with a 1.5 pt profit, which was a bit of a disappointment after being at 3pts at one stage - i got into my habit of laying the batting team expecting a wicket - even though they already had a 60/70 run partnership and were looking good - a habit i need to eradicate.
Still, green is green - better than my horrendous show at the SA v IND game yesterday ! - every trading decision went against me almost immediately and came out with a big kick up the backside

think we can expect the bat either team to make us some money these formats
good point Nathan.

In these shorter format matches, how do you guys decide what point to green up? I had a lay of Eng, currently sat on 1.5 green out of a maximum 5 points return... when should i look to green?
Over to you, Nathan, you've been doing this a lot longer than me !
Personally, i find T20's to be quite a challenge trading, as the swings are huge, and fast, and the feed delay is also disconcerting (anybody got any ways to mitigate that?).
I suppose the obvious one to answer is that if 1 side is clearly winning, then i will let it run if i am on green side, and get out asap if on losing side. Like today, it was clear after 11 overs of Oz innings that they were going to win, so i just let it roll. However, when it gets tight, i tend to err on the bowling side knowing that a wicket can make a big swing. When there is a wicket i tend to green up as close to the perceived top of the range as poss.
But, as i said,, each to their own style.Coming back to the feed delay, i am wondering if it will be beneficial to actually trade at the game? If, for example, you could trade real-time, you would def be 'fastest finger first', and beat the 5 second (10 seconds if watching on tv) Betfair delay.
This summer for example, if you lived in the South of UK, then you could possibly be at the Oval for a 2pm 20/20 game, and then Canterbury or Ageas for a 18.30 start. Any thoughts? -
@matt-ayles yip

@nathan-bennett presumably you're now using green to lay?
-
LAY 1.08
mainly cause i'm addicted and why not and if a wicket dot ball queen perry might be in next ha
yeah using 10% of green to lay

@matt-ayles when too many dot balls start to happen around the 1.4 range .. no exact science mainly feel
if a trades going well lets say bet 100@3 to win 200 i would be thinking myself to green with more than 100 profit atleast double investment styles
or remove redhere i've started to back ENG drip out
