Well done to England. I was at the baseball yesterday - great fun - so didn't watch or trade the match but I reckon they'll beat NZ quite comfortably and make the semi finals.

But what about today's match? West Indies look short to me at around 1.6. Without Dre Russ and with The Universe Boss struggling to find his touch, the Caribbean cricketers look low on confidence.

So it all depends which Sri Lankan side shows up. Will it be the sharp, focussed side which upset the England applecart, or the lacklustre outfit who folded tamely next time out?

Definitely one to watch, rather than trade, in the early stages at least. Hopefully there will be a predictable swing or two later on.

PS. Teams batting second have won four of the last five one day internationals at Chester-Le-Street, so whoever wins the toss could well insert the opposition. And their price is likely drop a good few ticks.

Good to see England back to doing what they do well. Will be an interesting run chase this.

@simon said in 2019 Cricket Trading Thread - Updated Thread:

Finally England decide to bat first! Will look to back them if they make a good start.

Was interrupted by an impromptu family visit so closed my position. Could have been a good green there. The risk of trading on a Sunday haha!

England had a bit of luck this morning, if they can see the next 5 out, should be able to kick on and get a good score

Really can’t see past India today, don’t think Roy will be 100% and will be slightly rushed back as it’s a vital game for England...
