@matt-ayles for me if i hadn't had any action I would be tempted for heavy LAY just to double the odds 1.02-1.04 styles as the focus for the batters (all be it poor) is to go for it now in final overs and just never know one over of 15 ish could do it

    its a feel thing really

Oath this is game over sick for the crowd . SRI need 120 and aus 2/10 for any hope of excitement

I've gambled 1.02 LAY and will take 100% of that back at 1.04 to hopefully save my a#$

This is where my inexperience holds me back. Not done anything yet, and may not do, as when the short price fav dominates I am unsure how to trade it.

I know T20 can be unpredictable but you’d have to think this is game over for SL here

Australia are so tight in the field

Aus bowl first, Hasaranga also out with covid change of venue to but I’ve got it marked for similar 1st and second innings scores, laying Aus still as Sri Lanka are putting up a fight

Hasaranga missing for SL with the dreaded Rona. (I look forward to that not impacting team lineups... so frustrating).

Traded the Ireland mens and New Zealand womens games yesterday, following my current plan of getting in and out quickly. Pleased to say I picked up a point in each of them.

Hopefully in time and with practice I can get 2 points per game, then increase from there. Not sure how many points the experts aim for, skies the limit i guess!

I use BetAngel and find it to be good , but notice a few people mentioning recently that they use Fairbot.
Anybody used both and can recommend either?

My betting thoughts for todays PSL game 👇

    Islamabad United v Karachi Kings

Karachi Kings need to win this game, having lost all 6 of their previous matches they will need to pull it out of the bag today. Islamabad have won 3 of their 6 games, losing to Quetta Gladiators in their last fixture after a poor bowling attack allowed the Gladiators to chase down their respectable 199 score with a couple of balls to spare.

The second half of the series is being played at The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the average first innings score here is 166 although for the games this year it has increased to 179. Historically this is a bat second ground with just over 60% of teams bowling first taking the win, however 16 out of the last 20 fixtures have been won by the team batting second.

Islamabad United have lost opening batter Paul Striling to international duty so this leaves them a little weak especially in the middle order, they will be relying on Alex Hales and Colin Munro although at the tail end they do have Faheem Ashraf who had a good knock against Quetta Gladiators on Saturday posting a respectable 55 off 28 balls with five 4’s and four 6’s.

Karachi Kings do have some power in their batting line up including Babar Azam who has had a good time with the bat this series, Joe Clarke and Ian Cockbain have struggled so far but both had a good run in the BBL so will need to step up today to give the Karachi Kings any hope.

With regards to bowlers Islamabad have the series leading wicket taker in Shadab Khan, other than a pretty average showing from Umaid Asif both teams are a little lacking in attack.

    1st innings average score - 166
    1st innings highest score - 211

    2nd innings average score - 154
    2nd innings highest score - 217

    Bat first win 38%
    Bat second win 62%

Islamabad United Top Batter - Alex Hales (Back Islamabad Match Odds)
Islamabad United Top wicket Taker - Shadab Khan (Lay Karachi Kings Match Odds)

Match Odds Market - will look to lay Karachi Kings in play

Happy to dump a peanut on the tie if have decent green and potential for game to come down to wire
    (Still hurts ha)

Nathan, I have Bet Angel and been looking at it for a while, is it worth investing in from your perspective

@stuart-wallace yes if you bet "no" on it being a tied match you'd have lost. That's correct.

Bookies often void bets if the outcome was "impossible" according to the market. Cricket matches are like the Draw No Bet football markets.

@stuart-wallace yes all stakes refunded, but as i had greened both sides of the market that was quite disappointing.

I do work in the industry so the decision is very typical but none the less, a good days work undone.

    Nothing lost however.
