Some snippets from Cricinfo....
**West Indies (possible) 1 Kraigg Brathwaite (capt), 2 John Campbell, 3 Nkrumah Bonner, 4 Kyle Mayers, 5 Jermaine Blackwood, 6 Jason Holder, 7 Joshua da Silva (wk), 8 Alzarri Joseph, 9 Kemar Roach, 10 Veerasammy Permaul, 11 Jayden Seales
England (probable) 1 Alex Lees, 2 Zak Crawley, 3 Joe Root (capt), 4 Dan Lawrence, 5 Ben Stokes, 6 Jonny Bairstow, 7 Ben Foakes (wk), 8 Chris Woakes, 9 Craig Overton, 10 Mark Wood, 11 Jack Leach
Pitch and conditions
A straw-coloured, intermittently cracked surface awaits on Tuesday, although it's anyone's guess at this stage how it will play. West Indies and Sri Lanka played out two high-scoring draws in the ground's most recent contests last year, although it didn't seem that way when Sri Lanka crumbled to 169 all out in their first innings. The weather is set to be glorious, with intermittent Caribbean storms coming and going in a matter of minutes.
Stats and trivia
England have never won a Test in Antigua in nine-and-a-bit attempts spanning 31 years.**
...........................It seems that Jayden Seales is the new bowling starlet, brisk pace, so could see Lees and/or Crawley departing early, then if Cricinfo is correct, we will see Lawrence at 4 ...... could see ENG 3 down before lunch.

Having read the previews for the match, everyone seems to be sitting on the fence. England have a terrible record in WI and have been poor for a while (so lay Eng). However WI are a poor test side with no top order (so lay WI)... and Antigua is renowned for being an easy batting surface so back a big 1st innings score (contradictory right?).
Basically nobody knows!
Made a big error entering the LTD market in the Pak v Aus game pre match so i think I'll wait and see...

@luke-weston The problem with Woakes is he is a bit of a dobber , if he could have added 5mph to his delivery then he would likely have been as successful abroad as he is in England. I have no problem with his batting however, i know that a few seasons ago when ENG were going through serious opening batting problems (where have i heard that before !), he was being considered to open the batting.
-
I feel a bit sorry for Woakes. He averages 22.6 with the ball and 35.26 with the bat in England which are absolutely world class numbers. He should be being talked up as one of the best allrounders in the world. For sure, his overseas record is poor, but he has never had much of a chance to develop. Look at how many games he has actually been selected for abroad: 2 in Bang and NZ, 3 in Ind and SA, and 7 in Aus. Jimmy Anderson had similar problems overseas in his early career but overcame them. Woakes deserves a chance to get his hands on the new ball and develop his game. Maybe Antigua isn't the place to start though...

@stuart-wallace How is Woakes still being considered as a test player - massive shake up needed in our cricket structure
Yes, me neither - what astonishes me is that he is regarded as one of our best players too !! Take him away from England he does eff all. However, one thing he does possibly provide (especially needed with the omission of Jimmy and now Robinson out) is a bit of control - because certainly Jor Root isnt going to likely get control from Mahmood,Wood and Leach.
Watch him take a five-for tomorrow now! -

@stuart-wallace Don't understand England being favourites we're a desperately poor test team probably says as much about the West Indies than England
Our batting is absolute crap and as for the bowling without Robinson, Broad and Anderson and with no spinner worthy enough to play test cricket how are we going to get twenty wickets
Yep, agree.
Possible ENG team... Lees,Crawley,Root,Bairstow,Stokes,Pope or Lawrence,Foakes,Woakes(yawn),PArkinson or Leach,Mahmood,Wood -

WI v ENG..
Weather set fair for all 5 days.
Antigua has a history of draws....5 out of last 10 tests at this venue have been drawn- and historically the wicket doesnt deteriorate quickly.
To me, WI look a bit short in the batting area, but then again, so do England with potentially Lees and LAwrence both playing. Robinson is out with back injury.Draw Lay is 4.8, with ENG favourites at 2.15. Hard to call this one, best wait for toss, check out team selections, injuires etc, and possibly do a speculative Draw Lay with early wickets (both early batting line-ups look brittle, however, Root is looking to bat at 3).

Do we have any draw layers out there at the mo
Very tempting
Could be rock bottom oddshad a LAY @1.27
R/R nuts here by openers
Hint of rain around later in day Gees i might really launch a draw lay if covers out laterSuch an interesting test match. Wickets currently seem impossible to get.

had lays queued at 1.07 un matched grrr haso far this W world cup markets early rounds so so short with favs at some point and games far far from over
used pitches may play key role
noted this hard for when the slow bowlers come on -
First women's game I've watched all the way through. Very, very impressive stuff from both sides.
-
Brilliant attempt from England to chase down a huge total posted by the Aussies. Should give them plenty of confidence going forward.

Are Australia on a wicket taking strike?
-
