Australia bowl first. Again i want to wait a few overs, hopefully no early wickets and can get involved.
-
I've got involved at last. Small back at 1.6
-
PAK LAY 1.31 assess if 1.5-1.6 for some insurance
Took some 1.5 .., market really doesn't want to burst here yet despite runs line being 300.5
-
runs line tempting to go overs
run a ball will get paid -
I can't believe how little the markets moved! Must be the run rate as still only 1 down 18 overs in.
Still no entry from me yet.

Noticed the last few ODI’s world wide with short price favs if the FAVS bay first there odds have all eased
Might do a scalp attempt if
WI v PAK
PAK bat first lay them for 5-8 ticksLooked like that worked with WI batting - PAK went from 1.28 to 1.4 currently.

WI bat no pre game launch lay of PAK

Agreed. Will see how it starts. If Windies can survive a few overs, maybe even most of the Powerplay, we should get some value on a back of Pakistan...
I'd prefer that strategy to a lay now and "hope" Windies bat well...

Ok so first 2 matches I have recorded early prices of 1.37 for Pakistan and Australia and 3.6 for WI and SL.
Australia bullied SL yesterday, although SL were a respectable 100-1 before collapsing and losing 9 wickets for just 28 runs. Todays game is at the same ground so its reasonable to think the Aussies will find batting easy. This makes for a difficult opening position as 1.37 is not an attractive back price for me, however if they bat first there's a good chance it's not a good lay price either (unless Finch goes early!). My plan here is wait for the toss. If SL bat first i hope for another reasonable opening partnership and I'll drip back Aus from 1.5 upwards. If Aus bat first I'll hope for an early wicket and again start backing them, however if like yesterday they make a mockery of SL bowlers, this may not ever present an opportunity to enter.
The other game reads similar although is a longer format so movements are slower. Not much recent data in the H2H stats, but Pakistans recent home series win over Australia was impressive. The flip side has the Windies losing ODI series to India and Ireland... again I don't like backing at low odds but I also can see Pakistan winning comfortably which means I can't bring myself to lay just yet either... So just as the Australia match I'll be waiting for the toss in the hopes Pakistan drift so I can drip back, but if they don't drift I'll be moving on to the Womens game.

Lots of cricket today to enjoy, starting with Pakistan v Windies.
Also different formats today too to test the skills!
Looking forward to it. Get those alarms set.

Back to the T20s today with the SLvAUS game, Australia are a little too high for me to just jump in with a blind lay like in the last series. I'm surprised to see Finch is still stealing a living in these formats and with Hasaranga on fire it wouldn't surprise me to see him go early. Australia have a really strong batting line up here so probably better for them the earlier he goes.
Whoever wins the toss is likely to bowl first, not a particularly high scoring ground so if Australia bat first and post what is a seemingly average score then should be able to back them at higher odds but as always with T20 will just see how the game plays out.
