@tom-david-1 100%. A wicket could move that line 20 runs. A partnership could do the opposite. Patience is key
-
I do a lot with run lines but only use ground data, the run lines get thrown out of line with wickets in T20 which is crazy really, an early wicket and a reduced run line is usually your friend here.
-
Sure. It's nothing too complex, it's just my predicted 1st innings totals based on my own data set looking at a few different score factors to blend me a line. I do it do it to remove emotion. Based on that I can hit run markets.
Also based on that line and starting price, if I find the batting side has drifted despite being on track to hit that line it presents value in match markets.
Me too re lines Andy (a bit in th dark) - maybe you could explain the concept and thought process ?

@nathan-bennett still learning angles to attack the shorter forms. I'm finding understanding lines/par scores is an angle that allows me to slow down a volatile market and attack when I think it's value. Still no where near it in 50 over cricket but there's only so many runs you can get in 20 overs.

@andy bit beyond me that . Sometimes I’ll have a line bet in play toward back end first INNS
Interesting to see and if anyone else chimes in with thoughts

Any IPL gurus on the forum? I've had a go at creating 1st innings lines. I've come up with up Chennai 177 or Kolkata 171. Keen to hear how close or far off I am to other traders.

shits n giggles LAYED 1.16 see if can get 1.4
been a great test
more like it please

no words wtf ha
-
I've gambled some on the back draw just till tea break
-
@matt-ayles
I've done similar. Low price but the 1.42 seems value for this pace attack to get the job done. With options to take some profit if there is a partnership down the line (if they manage to get within 15 overs) that I think will hold on. -
@nathan-bennett I'm all in with my green on a result... taken a chance in the hopes this isn't another draw. So for me it's either a couple of points green or a scratch... lets go wickets!

All she wrote for PAK
46 overs to hang onOld Fawad selfish review doubted Rizwan ffs
-
Anyone go well at scalping
I've tried to avoid of late but got a couple good ones before
That PAK review was madness clearly hit lay 7-12 thanks for coming
and
Back to lay pak 2- 4 ticks boundary'sno more than 10% of green each time
again
lay to back pak 13-18 sold myself short there 24's plus now
-
Laying low odds had eye on if it was AUS
Draw low odds want to see aggression by batters and lay like 1.5 get red out at 2.0 styles -
will drip lay draw under 1.50

cheers mate,i was out this morning, greened up now at 9.6

What we reckon then... runs? wickets? or another draw?!
Also in regards England, part of me thinks WI are worth a lay given how poorly we did with the bat... but then I also think if our last 2 batsmen can put on 90 maybe it is easy to bat? Or was that the old ball effect?
So many questions
-
Imagine Smith or Labuchange been over turn def been crying to on field ump.., hey mate he's pressed the wrong button ha

Worst DRS decision ever
