haven't deep dived the data yet
but Mumbai fav to beat Lucknow?? Surely not.
This has happened most MI games so far... I figure its because they're 5 time favourites blah blah.
Same principle as Man Utd are odds on in most games even though there now crap.

How goods the Brabourne so far! 1st innings total average for the 1st 5 games there is 194!! Boundary % sitting at 22.67, huge! Averaging 18 4s and 9 6s. Surprisingly tho, most runs coming in PP rather than the death, 10.30 rr for PP.

Does anybody trade the County Championship games? if so is it the same strategy as the test matches.
@Stuart-Wallace did a post on this i think, but most of the last round of matches were draws as it's over 4 days not 5...
Yes, i did a little analysis of latest round of matches, and found 6 out of 8 resulted in draws. I think that reverse logic could apply for these games in Backing the draw for selected games, however, there is more chance imo of being contrived games more probably later in season. Really got to watch the weather for these and do some analysis. As mentioned, there is little liquidity to play with either.
-
@luke-weston that was the game I was looking at as I am a Gloucestershire fan. Think we will stay up this season.
-
Plus there is no market on the county game. There is £304 matched on the Gloucs v Yorks game which I think is exactly where it was half an hour before play.

@dan-peacey difficult because of liquidity and less days but yeah you can still try it

@luke-weston great result! Just squeezed that run line middle too.
-
All went well. 2.5pts backing PK in the power play.Taken out. Have a spread on the run line from 173 to 198 for 10points if it lands in the golden zone. Won’t get back in unless there’s a chance for a super low lay.
-
@luke-weston whoever bats 1st I'll back them at the line if it drops 160 and below. I'll lay 190 and above if it's Mumbai. Punjab got the potential to go big.
-
1st inns run line at 172, avg at this ground is 176 but both teams’ bowling has been weak. I think we could see a quick start whoever bats 1st.
-
Amazing how quick run lines can move. CSK after losing their 2nd wicket had a run line of 145.5. They scored 216.
-
Phew, managed to squeeze myself out of a hole in the GUJ v SUn IPL game today - made 2 wrong decisions primarily laying when Rashid came on to bowl - before i knew it, because of the lag, i had 'lost' 25 pts of my lay. Eventually managed to get a small green by getting back to common sense, and backing the team that i thought was going to win based on RRR and wickets in hand.
-
80 all out... oops. Result on day 4 too.

FYI, out of the 8 County games that have finished today, 6 were draws.
