Changing the subject briefly, did anyone see LSG v KKR yesterday? Unbelievable match. Biggest ever opening partnership, first time a sides batted 20 overs in IPL without losing a wicket. The game was dead and buried at the change or innings... or was it? One of the most dramatic chases ever, the swings went back and forth all the way to the last few balls!

@stuart-wallace draw was 1.16 time posted that could argue was a green light lay till stumps even if SRI managed runs
    So be it

@stuart-wallace said in BTC Cricket Trading Thread:

BAN some 20 runs ahead , 53 overs left in day, so should get to a 150 run lead, with the likelihood of bowling at SL for last 15/20 overs of today.
LTD is still a goer, should there be a couple of SL wickets today, and then BAN chase 50 to win tomorrow. Going to let my LTD run for a while to see how many ahead BAN get, if it is 150, then SL will need to bat tonight and all day tomorrow - a tough ask on a 5th day pitch.

I wasnt far wrong - apart from the 150 lead bit !
I agree with Nath's comment about the draw price - with 2 wickets down and still 27 behind, i thought it would be a lot higher than 1.37 ....

@matt-ayles i need to get to 1.7 for Green. However, BAN batting so slow that a 150 lead tonight to be able to put SL back in looks unlikely- being bowled out might be a better option.

My situation is, i need the draw to drift to around 2.6 in order to make decent profit... can scratch the bet at 2.1

can't decide on a true angle markets are slow i still have a BANG LAY live and would like 8-10's to green some all up
this may not happen until SRI bat again
unless BANG lose there main remaining wickets
    all good
    monitoring stage

Didn’t make much on the BANG 3.2 lay
Risky now think to stay in that lay .., next 60-80 overs market could come right in for BANG
    Monitor forsure

It's a really interesting position. The lack of draws at this venue suggest to me that the pitch will deteriorate... however I'm concerned that neither of these teams have wicket takers.

Unfortunately I exited my draw back much too early, and then laid the draw much too early... not much i can do now other than hope for wickets. Not a position i wanted to be in!

Just noticed those draw lay odds. Surely worthwhile in hope of mini-collapse.
    Got in at 1.66
