NZ fight back was on the cards given the form of the middle order. Nice to see the draw lay go sub 3... showers around tomorrow afternoon so will check the radar in the morning but tempted to top up my lay at this price.
-
Good news from an England perspective, the clouds have rolled in and the balls swinging.
-
@nathan-bennett wickets falling regularly, although the more in form batsmen like Mitchell still to come. The draws going to come back in, especially as the ball gets older. Might be tricky to take wickets in the afternoon session.
If you queued a low lay I'd hold position as that may get matched in a few hours time. -
anyone have any views test
nz rates sound enough for draw odds to be stale enough to lay
comedy wanted more of lay on but half matched

@matt-ayles brilliant work

Been looking into the India W v SL W T20 that starts shortly. India very short priced at 1.16 but they bat first... SL have no form whatsoever and can't seem to get more than 120 runs against any side yet concede anywhere between 150-200 bowling first.
Also India have never lost a T20 in SL. Can't see that changing today. India are going to put out their strongest lineup as they want to warm up for the commonwealth games and world cups that are coming.
Only way i see myself trading this game is a couple of wickets in the powerplay and India drift over 1.4, then I'll have a back to lay. I'll do it that way round though as there's no guarantee they'll drift at all.
Have greened this up. India got as high as 1.53 but as i suggested i entered at 1.40 and have taken the green after SL lost an early wicket.
As it turns out you could have laid early and greened when they drifted but i prefer to do it the way i did as it protects the liability.

@matt-ayles not really ha
-
Edged...... and gone!! First over. Unbelievable.
-
Everyone seems to think it's a superb batting wicket, so every chance we could get some good, low laying opportunities.
-
@richard-futter every test ! gold scalping ha .. got to be other exchanges co-operate money aligning .., robots who knows
-
@nathan-bennett Amazing isn't it? Almost in to 3 without a ball being bowled. Am I missing something?
-
draw to be favourite in 12 deliveries
-
missed boat SRI IND W myself

Very surprised to see the draw starting out at a very low 3.7 in the final Test between England and New Zealand.
There has been just one draw in the last 21 Test played at Headingley and, although there may be the occasional shower tomorrow afternoon, it seems very unlikely the weather will play a major part here.
Add to that the fact we have two very attack minded sides competing in Leeds, and I reckon if - as often happens - the draw price contracts during the opening exchanges, we might even get to lay around 3.0, which would be amazing value.
The loss of James Anderson is a blow, but Jamie Overton will at least reduce the length of the England tail, while the long overdue call up of Neil Wagner will excite the Black Caps' fans.
Kane Williamson returns to skipper the Kiwis, but he's been badly out of form so far this year so that isn't necessarily a game changer.
With temperatures set to hit a balmy 27 degrees, whoever wins the toss will surely bat first and I'm sure their price will tumble. I always try to get on that move to get a little bit of green on the board before the match gets underway.
While I'm on, I am very surprised to see Surrey available at 1.8 in tonight's T20 Blast match against Sussex at Hove. Yes, the league leaders have players missing, but as a big Sussex fan I can tell you they've been woeful in white and red ball cricket this season, while cricket's 'moneybags' have been carrying all before them. I'd love to see Luke Wright & Co upset the applecart, but I see it as a pretty remote chance.

Green is green, but I wish I’d held my nerve for the second and third wicket at Northants
-
@stuart-wallace yeah it gives confidence that it can be done. I still make silly mistakes but they are fewer and further between luckily.
I'd love to do this professionally but i need to firstly build a bank, and secondly believe it can be done.
Anyway, we have a test match to look forward to tomorrow, and thanks to the weather I'm starting with 2 points green before a balls been bowled. Thats a nice feeling!
-
@matt-ayles good thats its a consistent profit recently.
-
@stuart-wallace honest answer? I had been struggling! Up until April I wasn't getting there, had plenty of months where i was actually down. April was great with the IPL, +30. May was really up and down +10. June so far is +15 after todays efforts.
I've been with BTC about a year now and its only these last few months where I've been making consistent profit. Very positive and I feel I'm understanding cricket trading alot better now but I'm constantly trying to learn.

@stuart-wallace still a great effort mate. My monthly target is only 20 points lol.
I was +2 points on England today which was pleasing, usually i stop at +1 but felt there was enough market movement to repeat the effort.@matt-ayles said in BTC Cricket Trading Thread:
