@tom-david-1 mate I was working when threw in a low lay 1.2’s took back most 1.6 squared at the break .. seems to be always a suss time post breaks for batters and this scenario a wicket would mean ass
Nice timing

Closed my draw lay, laying SL now at 1.4
Greening this up at 2.2, think there’s more to be bad here but don’t have much time to monitor today
Wow, talk about timing

@stuart-wallace yes it does, but the swings in T20 are crazy.
If i am worried that a team will dominate from ball 1 I tend to back them and look to lay again around 15-20 ticks lower to generate a "free bet" on them.
I've done that on the sussex game, its all matched up with 1 point green on sussex and scratch on glamorgan. That way if it looks a close game you can green up both sides for a half point or let it run at no risk.I have used this throughout the IPL and with only 2 matches left I have only experienced total domination twice.

Match delayed by rain at Birmingham ...might give advantage to Northants ...i've laid Birmingham at 1.4

@stuart-wallace yes all the domestic short format leagues are on my trading calendar.
My strategy is fairly simple, lay the fav pre match then place a lay on the outsider at around 20-30 ticks lower than their opening price.
E.g. if you lay the fav at 1.6 opening show, you can lay the underdog around 2.1 or 2.2 and take a small profit.
It's not a big earner in the short term but over the course of an entire competition is excellent. Its low risk in the sense you're often in the market for a short time so less exposed.
This middlesex game i laid Gloucester at 1.8 then middlesex at 1.95. That greened up after 2 balls. Now I'm done, onto the next.
Matt, forgive my ignorance, but isnt this strat depending on the dog coming in every time? -what do you do if it goes the other way?

@matt-ayles Nice one Matt.
I'm sitting on a big red on this one.!
Radlett has very short boundaries, so i am hoping that Gloucs get off to a good start so i can minimise my red. -

@stuart-wallace Out of interest.... I am assuming the Middx v Glous match is on Sky?
However, its also played 'live' on Youtube...
I wonder if there is the same delay on YT as Sky, or if there is an advantage to being on the YT link ?.... thats an interesting one, because if the YT link is more live than SKy then that provides an edge. -
Middlesex going absolutely bonkers so far!

Anyone trading the Domestic T20's today.
Middx v Gloucs at 16.30 today - Glou won toss and bowl first.
Glou batting looks a lot stronger than Middx imo, and reflected in price of 1.86.Planning on trading one of the 18.30 games too , any suggestions on which one?

@stuart-wallace Just double checked and no significant rain about , 1 hour at max. So, gone full-on LTD. When we are always thinking below 4 is bloody good in Test, for it to be below 3 in this position in this match with no imminent serious rain is bloody brilliant . 1 early wicket and i can see this being an innings win.
From Cricinfo... 'Ankur: "@suvin, there will be no rain tomorrow. Cloudy sky and thats it. " ' -
@matt-ayles
Yes, little rain as far as i can see.
Seems like a given LTD myself. Gonna close out my small Back loss and Lay the eff out the draw. I will be able to monitor the game tomorrow so will be able to trade it.
4 down, 100 behind, a whole 5th day they have to bat - cant see it meself. -
@stuart-wallace i can only imagine this is weather related yes... but all the websites I've checked suggest a 50/50 chance of rain late in the afternoon, and even that might be a quick thunderstorm which will quickly pass.
Looking at Bang first innings score, other than these 2 nobody scored anything, so as you say get one of these out and a result looks likely.
Even if Bangladesh manage to bat themselves into a lead, it won't be much and SL will want to attempt the chase as they need the result.

@nathan-bennett 4 down!! With any luck we won't need tomorrow afternoon!
Only hesitation is that this is a carbon copy of their first innings and they went on to 365...
I dont get it.
Firstly, i was going to take my green at start of day from backing draw, but BetAngel had the market as closed, and i couldnt green up. Then when i got back on i see BAN 4 down, and expecting the LTD price to have shot upwards, but see it is still just below 3, and my loss is minimised. So, what is going on? 4 down , still 100odd behind, with a whole day to go (5th day at that), would have thought LTD would have been circa 7/8.
IS there rain about?
Its no good imo saying these are 2 best batters, as this is a day 5 pitch, and lightning tends not to strike twice.
Should there be a wicket early, then LTD price will shoot out.Thoughts?
