Only a big innings from Root can win it for England from here. Lees and Pope look like walking wickets all the time to me, although the roller might make the pitch flatten out for a while. Post lunch will be the crunch period.

Want NZ to win being a kiwi
But want EnG to start 20-0 and green up ha -

New ball due?
NZ totally bossing it
Thinking 1.5's too short at mo batters req to re settle
have had a lay would love 2'sI like this optimism. New ball due and batters needing to settle is England's hope here. I'll add a bit more optimism, in recent matches.I'd say no hope for England already, but home turf, Crawley and Pope capable of big runs and Root without the burden of captaincy, then certainly sub 300 is do-able.

@dan-mackinnon could be a short term trade
I've LAYED 25% green on this trade to find out
could abort if no in roads by new ball which i'll just cop
we all know the smash will be on some point in INNS -
@dan-mackinnon in all honesty New Zealand already have more than enough with three days left they don’t even need to think about declaring

have had a lay would love 2'sfrom a longer term perspective I will be keeping an eye on the total England have to chase, if they chase 300+ and odds are not massive I will lay them, this is one of those spots I have done really well from historically.
More from a fans perspective than trading, but I’d be interested to see what England do if they have a 300+ target. Our batting is still fragile but if England can come back to win or at least get close it’ll show intent, rather than all out for less than 200

@kaspars-eksteins have it and the WI NED games loaded to see if like angles .., did just notice ZIM win toss and bowl and AFG already 1.38-1.55 but missed all that
I'll post trades if do any
hopefully winning ones -
Anyone on zim vs afg game?

Reading the cricket book I mentioned before, it said 61% of dismissals in Test are catches and 60% in T20.
I saw on Ladbrokes they had next dismal at 1.6. So far this test there’s been 18/24 catches.
18 x 1.6 = 28.8
6 x -1 = -6
Profit = 22.8A typical innings with 6 catches
6 x 1.6 = 9.6
4 x -1 = -4
Profit = 5.6Unfortunately I don’t see a market on Betfair so it’s not really a long term strategy. Just something I found interesting whilst reading the book

@nathan-bennett it’s their best chance to get wickets with the bowlers they have. A couple early in the morning and it’s game on again

The draw price cannot make up its mind. Down from 90 to 9. It’s still only Day 2
-
Greening up england lays at 2.7 and I’m done, well played all
-
personally my books showing 80% of maximum green possible
very happy with and squaring it upno doubt hook in again somewhere
gees draw markets steaming in on back of this partnership too

Fancy a back of England around 2.2. Got to think Anderson & Co will make early inroads once they bowl.
great shout thanks for this!

@nathan-bennett this is where I need more experience to come with those sort of thoughts
-
would love to be able to slowly drip lay nz odds on for swings
another 20 ish by these two and may get close to it -
Backed NZ for small stakes, hoping a partnership sticks
