IND AUS W
Backed Draw lastnight 2.9’s
Gamble on it steaming in and monitor and flip the lot some point
Take loss at 4.0 and go again some stage
...
wow 17 ticks away from evens
AUS BAT first
HMM i'd planned to flip and lay 2.0 the whole green on draw side
may do half and rest 1.8 and wait 4 days till pay day
...
Nice runout muppets ha
..
Aborted the back to lay draw . holding now bummer looked great one point -
@Fraser-cord feel thing and a money target
Generally like to take stake out quick as possible say 1.2 or 1.3 and sometimes that’s two boundaries and let rest ride
Being the 1st INNS lastnight that’s what basically did
Perth at home so dangerous when it got to 1.78 I fully flipped it and was on them
Actually got as high as 2.2 after being 1 down
…
Strategy identified years back
Pays off with little thought -

BIG BASH
Another sub 1.1 fill up in progress
Just happensHow long do you leave it and what odds do you aim to exit on? Today looked like an extreme case, cant be normal for the odds to jump that high after all the top order were out so quick.
My previous attempt at this was a massive fail as India W crumbled out for 80. So was reluctant today, so obviously it worked a treat!

NZ BANG
ODI
Small lay NZ 1.18 see what this looks like toward end INNS
I would have another small lay if wicket falls soon and its 1.10 ish to lay NZ
...
LAY NZ 1.12 on DRS review
...
Red taken out at 1.34 NZ
..
Greened up happy. see if fatter odds later in INNS to go one way or the other -
@Nick-Segura massively liquid no issues getting set for a million ha
-
got WI v ENG T20 tonight.
Usual reaction to home side winning the toss...
WI went from 2.24 to 2.14
ENG went from 1.79 to 1.87
I have 9 more working days left before i am trading full-time til mid March and i intend to implement my pre toss lay bot for every 20 over game there is ! It always works when home side wins the toss and to a lesser degree when away team wins toss. -
@Stuart-Wallace Well apparently, during IPL matches, they often pause the match for player to rehydrate! I've never watch a single game of Cricket so this may well be inaccurate but this is when the person I know scalps the match odds market.
-
@Nick-Segura What is he looking for during the Water breaks?
-
@Nick-Segura There is huge liquidity on Cricket. Look at todays game SA v IND ...almost 58 million matched so far.
-
@Martin What I was surprised about is the amount of money exchanged on Cricket matches. I had never seen that before. I know someone that scalps match odds markets during water breaks and he told me to check it out during the IPL. I wonder if this is something that can also be done during Big Bash matches.

@Nathan-Bennett Is the big bash league as liquid as the IPL? Same kind of volumes? Or is the IPL in a league on its own?
Tell you what I was surprised by how small the crowds look!

BIG BASH BACK
Sub 1.1 layers in front again
Good way to build rebuild banks -
@Stuart-Wallace Yeh I agree. Case and point being the AUS vs PAK game. After 2 days, looked like PAK were immovable, yet it was done inside 4.
-
i wondered about the 4 day factor, and then realised that min 100 over a dayagainst 90 for men , but also its rare for games to even go into 5 days for men nowadays

next Test is IND W v AUS W starting 21st at Mumbai.
Nice dosh before xmas !
Prices were silly low for LTD in the ENG game, lets see if same applies. We can only hope. I guess the 4 day vs 5 day format brings the draw in too, especially after a few decent stands. And good to see the collapse still happens.
Totally agree, patience is key. It is almost set and forget for a few hours, even longer. Just need to understand the base point of the markets, which I'm definitely getting better at, and having lays set at expected prices from there.

Prices were silly low for LTD in the ENG game, lets see if same applies.IND W v AUS W - market just released - already got a LTD at sub 3. Have another queued up at 2 - lets see how that goes.
Weather in Mumbai is forecast dry . Stats for ground (Men ... almost no history for women) is 1 draw in last 10 with 3 innings wins . The last game there was the Patel 10 wickets game v NZ where 30 of the 33 wickets to fall were by spinners.
Can see a similar situation to the ENG W game where spinners rip through teams batting 3rd and 4th. -
@Stuart-Wallace spot on!

Big green for me on lay the draw in Aus test. I'm just taking that green now and leaving it there. Patience paying off big time in tests, looking forward to the next.
Thats the key with Tests...patience. its the main thing i struggle with, but its sooo profitable to have it in Tests. I often find myself dabbling with the 20 overs and ODI and nearly always lose, but with Tests i prob have about 90 per cent hit rate.
