It’ll be interesting to see how today goes. If England had taken those catches realistically NZ would be all out or down to 8 by now. I wonder what that’s done to ENG mentally and if we’ll slip back into our not so old ways and collapse with the bat?
If NZ get 450-500 and ENG still have wickets by the end of today would you expect the draw odds to be favourite?

@nathan-bennett Only two draws here in the last 15 matches - and one of those against India was the result of the whole of the final day being washed out. That's not going to happen here. Might have to be patient, though, as Trent Bridge generally favours batting on days two and three.

@nathan-bennett Yes, there were problems with it for a while there. Decided not to get into the market yet, as there was much less movement than expected in the early stages - even after the effects of the heavy roller had worn off.
The draw is becoming very layable as it tumbles in towards the 3 mark - which seems very attractive considering the good weather forecast. Could get even better though if England fail to take any wickets before lunch.

Got the toss judgment wrong... will be interesting to see how the English bowlers do. Will be astonished if they don't take three wickets at least before lunch.

Toss imminent. Would expect the winner to bat and their price to shorten, but there will be early movement so worth looking to lay the batting side - just in case Broad does what he did against the Aussies here seven years ago.
