@stuart-wallace nice work !! my main thought process start this series was that the NED batters wern't hopeless .. they made me a stack v the West Indies put together some fine partnerships at the top so had me think 1.03 eng seemed an opourtunity for a in and out scenario

you could be quite right in thoughts on NED best batter , NED lower order did real well to put a score on board other game .., so yes another lay to back scenario could produce itself

eye on if the two at the crease if settled looking to rotate strike etc and feel the price is right to hook in

Thoughts at moment is that NED's best batter is Edwards (imo) , so might look to Back NED when they are 4 down (he is coming in no 6), on the thought that there is more ticks ?
Maybe there will be a point where backing ENG becomes viable ?

@matt-ayles well they certainly drifted, hope someone benefited

I got a small green, layed at 1.05 after missing the start of the game, and bottled out at 1.09 - still, green is green !

It's been an interesting experience though listneing to Nathan and Matt and their thoughts and has given me another strategy to think about when we get these 1 sided games on a good track.

@matt-ayles nar spew no 1.03 matched else be free rolling .. runs lines only plays if they salute almost equates to what match odds may of done profit wise
    so
i cant lay match odds at current quote

5000 style lay again queued 1.03 weird only 1 cent but dont wanna lay 1.04 ha
might have to wait in play

having a small gamble on NEDS run line over 248.5 have backed
    went again
    over 236.5

In terms of match odds i was asking the same (albeit different values) and mines matched so hopefully yours has too? You were probably ahead of me in the queue.

Might try to repeat it for no risk after the next wicket.

@nathan-bennett worth checking the lineups too as when they chased the other day they kept Buttler in the shed. They may rotate players today given the series result.

    ENG NED
    same game plan
LAY ENG 1.03 if NED bat first try double money stake out at 1.06
ENG bat first focus on runs line

Following draw thoughts on back to lays and have greened up .. think I’ll hold now for in play as far as laying draw just because recent history first few overs this market seems to steam in . It’s like someone has sophisticated robot crushing market ha

Yeh I'm thinking half stake early just in case wickets fly. In saying that, although diff codes, runs have been scored there in the blast so who knows.

ENG v NZ Draw price starting to creep up. Took some at 2.98.

Weather also looking reasonable for most of the days now.

There has been only 1 draw at Headingley in past 20 Tests - a lot of which you would have expected to be interrupted by rain at some stage, based on normal Leeds weather.
Also, only 1 team batting first in the past 5 tests has got over 200- and these teams include India,Oz,Eng. Havnt checked Yorkshire scores this season.

NZ will likely have Kane back.

TBH, i think 3 is a very good price to lay , with the proviso of keeping an eye on weather.

Great info. I'll be looking to lay the draw. Lay 250 runs 1st inn either side and possibly look to back runs late as batting gets easier.

Just saw the BBC weather for the week ahead, seems to be just the threat of a few showers over most days. The chance of some proper rain Saturday afternoon but unlikely at this stage, apart from that it doesn't look like much time will be lost at all. With all the stats and history of the venue etc, laying the draw seems a good call to me.

Still involved myself, my Aus back almost got there but remains unmatched... gonna stay in a little longer, see how the powerplay goes. As @Stuart-Wallace says, on this pitch, 250+ won't be straightforward.
