markets diving a fractionIve exited my position on draw with small red, and looking to Back Draw with possibility of going back to 1.35 ?

Not been able to watch match so far, but with each spinner taking 2 wickets, i suspect its a spinner friendly strip? In which case SRI wil have better spinners than AUS, so LTD a cert for me and as Nathan say, Lay AUS.
-
AUS LAY 1.67
find a way to get 230+ SRI -
@stuart-wallace f a r not cool

no draw AUS SRI lay whatever and how much you want
and also smaller bet SRI under 282 runs
-
ok back on the draw lay for a while .., aus anywhere around 1.7 could be a good lay for a swing
Tim Paine must be back
DRS hopeless -
@nathan-bennett yeh tuned in now. Lanka 2 down and you'd think aus will struggle too. Not sure when to pill the trigger on the draw lay with the forecast but.
-
anyone else tuned into AUS SRI
gee spins going to be a killer you'd think
-
maybe the first test in ages where the draw didnt steam in first 4 overs
just had a LAY 3.3
aborted this draw lay for now was hoping early pole or two
very impressed SRI at mocontemplating aus lay ha

Galle a funny one over the years
Def worth paying attention
At times on tv you see clouds looming draw crash for it to only by pass the ground
Looks a unique spot on the map
I’d def love to go one day sit in the weather back to lay lay to back the draw haWoman’s test
Maybe when SA 2/30 styles draw maybe go into the black
Just a guess -

According to the BBC weather app the weather in Galle looks awful for the next week.
Amazing how all the different weather apps tell you different things. Cricbuzz also suggest that showers in the region are short and there shouldn't be too much disruption, plus the pitch should help the spinners very early on so wickets may fall quickly... Cricinfo share a similar opinion.
There's also only been 6 draws in 37 tests, the last one was in 2013, 15 tests ago (not including Englands in 2020 which was cancelled).
I think LTD (thats lay the draw @Kevin-Gedny) is still the play here.

@matt-ayles that makes sense, still trying to get used to the terminology. Thank you for such a comprehensive answer

In other news, cracking effort from Ireland there!

@kevin-gedny hi Kevin, no I mean I could create 1 points worth of profit (green) on all 3 outcomes allowing me to walk away from this trade knowing I've guaranteed profit.
However, my current position has 2 points of liability (red/loss) on the draw as I am hoping to be able to secure more than 1 point of profit. However, if I were to walk away now, worst case scenario the match ends as a draw and I will lose 2 points.
I will be following it tomorrow though, and if the market remains stagnant around the 1.5 - 1.7 area I may accept the smaller profit so as not to enter the final day with a potential loss.
-
@matt-ayles I’m still new to trading, when you say lock in a point, do you mean reduce your liability?
-
@stuart-wallace i don't necessarily need it to, but I'd be able to lock in a few points if it drifted beyond 2... can get a point or so locked in if it settled around 1.75 but I'm trying to be patient.
