Yeah success lay there, taken a points green. Will see what happens tomorrow with weather, maybe the draw gets back down to a layable price.
Windies ODI this afternoon too, amazed they are favourites given their ODI record, will definitely be looking to lay Windies. Neither team has got anywhere near the first innings total yet though so perhaps lay whoever is batting first, as they seem to be poor teams with the bat.
BAN now slight favs. Judging by the fact WI have gone with 2 spinners , then it will be the usual slow, spinning Guyana wicket (not a great one for ODI imo), so, team batting first will struggle.
BAN won toss and chose to bowl surprise, surprise.
Gonna Lay WI expecting a slow batting display. -
PAK best 2 batters in now, plus expected rain tomorrow morning , i am probably closing out of LTD, and will wait til after rain to re-lay.
-
@matt-ayles yep cheers Matt, me too. Lay at 1.46, out at 1.87. Nice little green to go with my ongoing LTD, which i'm looking to exit from at end of play if rain is still forecast for tomorrow.

I queued a draw lay at 3.0 before bed last night. Have woken up to see there's already been 8 wickets but gutted that the draw went as low as 3.1! Just missed out there.
Tempted to have a lay of Pak as they're so short on day 1... won't be high liability though.
This is one of the reasons why i now always have something small on LTD before the game, just to get a entry into the market especially for situations like this where i am not going to be possibly able to monitor the opening stages of the game. Find it works more than it doesnt.

Might be a good idea. Lay PAK and then exit on wicket 1 or 2 before Babar Azam comes in.
I had a strange one this morning on BetAngel.... I queued a LTD at 2 prices that were reached when i checked later - my liability has increased accordingly, but my Net Stake hasnt (although BF says i have..which is the important one i suppose - wonder if its a BA bug - am i being stoopid (probably !).

woman t20 tri series AUS PAK IRE starts tonight
AUS PAK
AUS currently 1.02 to win . on history could be overs ha but f%$k that that's comical
AUS LAY 5000 1.03 queued and 5000 1.02
Want 8000 1.08 to back if the 1.02 is matched
Happy to gamble try double money
Game one's of series can tighter than markets/history thinkGoes the same for dead rubbers look at NZ IRE last night
NZ 1.03 at the breakSRI IND woman IND 2-0 up and were into 1.10 favs early game 3
WI NED game 3 WI were 1.03 45th over set 305 ish for NED NED came out 100 run partnership market as high as 1.8 ish before WI ended up winning
mentality thing think
lets roll
-
missed a fill up NZ IRE by the sounds ha
onto the test
no way laying draw until get signs of the pitch
usual other trading plans me no doubt -
SRI v PAK Test tomorrow.
Galle again. So, no draws in 16 games, i think.
Rain predicted to hit on day 2, then clear after and before.
Might be a case of backing the Draw at end of day 1 and hope to pick up the green when the price drops after rain.
Draw price has gone to 3.9 , so i am going to wait a little and look to start on day 2. But, Might try to watch the first session to see how the pitch is playing to see if its a bowlers wicket or not, but judging by the first couple of days of the Tests v AUS, its relatively easy to bat first day. -

No it was fine mate, i laid NZ at 1.05, hardly any liability so no heart attacks. I traded out at 1.15 anyway.

@sameer interestingly i actually backed England further during the innings change as i felt 4.1 was excellent value. That then pushed the exit requirement much higher so potentially just a couple of powerplay wickets would have been enough, let alone what happened.
I am finding cricket trading unlike anything else. I often get asked about stop losses, but the issue with a financial stop loss is that can often be hit early thanks to unexpected wickets, like today, but then you watch your initial trade go green after taking a loss...
I prefer a time loss rather than a money loss, for example, I'll watch India until the end of their powerplay and if its still going against me I'll trade out...
I'd love to hear peoples thoughts on this.
Yeah, thats a good way of putting it Matt, i am always generally (especially in limited overs) looking for time milestones, start and end of powerplays, when cerrtain bowlers are likely to start bowling (for example Rashid Khan always tends to bowl from over 10 in ODI0s for AFG), when new balls are due,and also looking for run rates, many, many things to take into the equation.
As i said before, Cricket provides me with by far the best return for me in Trading. -
