I fancy England's ability to take the wickets tomorrow... providing they get a couple of sessions play.
-
Might have to eat my words about the Met Office; looks like showers for the rest of the afternoon to me, although with play possibly going on until 7pm I guess we might still get a few overs in.
-
@nathan-bennett Good ho! Looks like being a frustrating afternoon of showers from now on, so think I'll keep my powder dry for a while yet.
-
Play extended to 7pm.
-
@richard-futter outstanding followed that one bang !
-
Draw price out to 2 just as expected; nice.
-
@dan-mackinnon I never trust the Met Office; quite often way off the mark. I go by radar and it looks to me that we will have a good clear period from about 3pm. If the ground is well protected we should still have plenty more overs before the day is out. As I said before, though, these things are never 100% predictable.
-
@richard-futter Looking on the Met Office it looks like it's going to rain all afternoon
-
Layed draw at 1.75 as it looks as though it'll clear up for a while quite soon; looking to get out around 2's if possible.
-
@richard-futter Richard, what weather App do you use?

@richard-futter valuable info provided

Draw price crashing in, but it looks as though the rain is breaking up a bit, which should be good news for England.
Its not entirely accurate as you'd imagine but I live about 30 miles from Taunton and where I am we have cloudless skies currently. Lovely spot of sun, just a strong breeze.

Here's a question for those cricket nuts/nerds out there - not related to trading..
Warners second catch getting catch off deflection off keeper.... Warner juggled with the ball whilst on the ground and juggling the ball on his chest - one of his co slips almost jumped on Warner to stop the ball going to ground - if he had, i wonder who's catch it would have been?Definitely the man who snatched it off his chest.
Thats my point , the second guy didnt look like he was going to snatch it off him, he was just going to pin it to Warners chest to stop it rolling off. But, i suppose, ultimately, it would have been him who would have picked it up not Warner.

Ball is turning a mile in Galle - and its only first day. !

Been off the forum all morning, and will be again this afternoon.
For what its worth, as mentioned earlier i laid the draw in SL which i queued a back which has been matched. Current position is a lay of Aus, as i think SL spinners will do the business. Again have queued a back of Aus at around 2.3ish.
As for the women, i was on the draw lay but that greened up this morning once it drifted to around 2.3 again, so I've had a back of England now, hoping for around 1.25 or so exit.
Although am playing with green in both tests now.
