bangas feel good about 320 , getting there dunno but expect a fight
-
pinch hitters promoted today could be anything this
-
Crikey.... that was a bad miss. Looked a casual effort from Tamim. Doesn't look that easy a pitch to score quickly on.
-
spewing India in first.., scalping innings at best ha. we see
-
I expect India to bounce back with a vengeance today. They have an excellent one-day record against the Tigers from Bangla, and they'll be eager to secure a top two place.
-
Got to think India rock bottom who knows may rest up mentally, especially from what we've seen from Bangladesh with the bat , India could be a heavy lay at low odds . Definitely pre game scalp attempt eyeing
-
@josh-shaw well done there!
-
@dave-jessop that’s the game... some swings there SL traded at 1.02 - squeaky bum time for some there
-
Some game this....

Agreed. The highest successful run chase in WC history is 329 by England in 2011...
Will be laying WI during this innings.
The Irish will be after you..... it was they who beat England to record the highest successful run chase, thanks to a hundred in 50 balls from Kevin O'Brien.
Apologies, posted in a rush earlier!

@thomas-foster I like your thinking - and the fact that you were willing to take a loss rather than stick rigidly to your initial trade despite the evidence. Agree with you about the run chase.... about a one it ten chance I would say.

Hi guys
New to the group and have been starting trading cricket during WC using small stakes.
The plan today was initially to back SL after over 1 as they had highest run rate during power play 1, then lay off in the 10th over.
Stats showed SL run rate then slows right down after PP1 so looked to lay them from 10th over, but as both openers were set I decided to stay out until some new batsmen came in.
Once both openers were out and the two new batsmen were at the crease - SL 104/2 at the time. I entered and was hoping for a few wickets. As I didn’t think run rate would be high I didn’t think price would move against me much from my lays of 2.1 and 2 split stakes. However, both batsmen settled and had to exit at 1.82 as I didn’t think price would move past my entry even if there was a wicket which looked unlikely at the time.
Entered again this time backing SL at 1.6 at I think around 250 or 260 for 4. My thinking was that they looked set to go past 300 and as long as they did price would shorten by end of the innings.
Have decided to stay in as I can’t see this chased down especially if Gayle goes early. Hoping for few early wickets to green up.
Exit TBC - if Windies start well am considering drip backing up until 2’s
Any advice on above or any flawed thinking is welcome.

first 10 overs could be fun
-
Just get the feeling that, unless they mess things up badly, Sri Lanka will go on to win this game quite comfortably. The West Indies have the air of a beaten team.
-
@richard-futter perfect thank you.
-
1.9 - 2.2 - getting out there before the SL middle order possibly gets exposed. Nice early profit there.
