quick word on WI BANG ... WI are showing some real resistance in this format currently . BANG have already been as low as 1.08 early day 2 ... Could be a real earn low odds BANG lay later in test as WI come to bat again 2nd INNS .. pending how long WI bat 1st inns and how long BANG bat to secure comfortable lead the draw could end up quite short too. right on halfway mark in the test drinks day3 second session
-
@richard-futter a little red at the moment but in a good spot in the PAK V SA test so will see what after lunch presents.
-
Should have held on to that draw lay. Doh. Still good to get a little green on the board though.
-
closed off till after lunch now
-
@richard-futter just totally uncalled for. Great chance to play a big innings and set the series up.
-
He's no trader that was a huge gamble
-
Shame that. Would have been a great performance to go into lunch with no wickets down.
-
Oh God, Rory WTF was that?
-
just as typing hope see draw into the 2's ha
-
liking the lay India could get 3-4's before 1.5
-
I've scratched the draw lay by the way; did briefly go up to 5.2 at one stage and plenty of chances to take a bit of green around 4.5.
-
India price beginning a significant drift. Could go quickly if no wickets fall.
-
Price moving up a little bit; in a decent position if a wicket does fall.
-
Had a little lay at 3.85. Couldn't resist it. Looks a decent support point.
-
@richard-futter fast becoming my go to play to set up a test tradeathon back the draw
-
@richard-futter I was wondering if that was something that was rare, also I didn't realise how little test cricket has been played at this venue over the last 15 years.
-
Half an hour ago the draw was at 6; after 4 balls it's under 4. Don't think I've seen that before, unless the rain has been pouring down!
-
Draw price shortening quite dramatically ahead of the first ball. Not a complete surprise.
-
England batting first this morning, which should be an advantage. I think they might have a better shout here than the odds would suggest, especially if Joe Root can show the kind of form he did in Sri Lanka.
For once, I'll be a little more circumspect than usual in laying the draw. Three of the last six matches at Chennai have ended in stalemate, although both these sides have a very positive outlook.
Will take a look at the first session or two before diving in, as I feel at the outset this is quite a difficult match to call in trading terms.

@james-woodroffe Worth keeping an eye on today, as there could be a start made with rain later. Must admit I thought the 'no' price would be much shorter.
