Surely Anderson should be turning his arm over. I'd be bowling him and Leach in tandem.

I think Stokes is making a mistake bowling spin all the time against Rizwan. He averages 129 against spin in Test cricket - and just 29 against the seamers.

@nathan-bennett That was a great lay of England Nathan. If I hadn't still been half asleep, I might have followed suit! 2.4 for Pakistan now seems crazy to me - or maybe I'm just too old school ๐Ÿ™‚

Babar Azam the key here. Unless he gets a century I really don't feel Pakistan have the batting to win this. Happy to lay them at 3.4.

I think that Pak are more than capable of chasing down 300+ although I donโ€™t think they will. Iโ€™m looking for a lay of Eng when Pak bat and a partnership develops, I think. Will see what the lead is first. Laid Eng day 1, and laid Pak today, so some good Green going into day 3.

@matt-ayles good question. The way ENG now play almost throws the history books up in the air.We are not even at end of Day 2, and you would expect best days for batting would be days 3 and 4, so i think a score of under 400 may be getable - be a tough ask but never know when you have likes of Babar.

EDIT: having thought about this a bit more, i am going to see out the first 4 overs tomorrow, and if no wickets then going to Lay Pakistan. Seems like ENG could well get to beyond a 400 lead, which, on reflection would be a huge ask for PAK, who already look a demoralised team bereft of a few of their star players such as Haris and Shaheen

@stuart-wallace i was wondering what kind of score pakistan could chase? Are they going to be a value lay?

262/9 is the highest 4th innings score pakistan have hit at this ground. England are currently 238 ahead...
