Anyone trading well v Otago? I'll be looking at overs in the run market. I think Wellington should be north of 170 today.

@gavin-rumsey you'll find that India odds wont move that much in most games regardless.
A resolute huge backing all the time?

big lay 1.09. looking for 1.19 exit.
Bottled out at 1.15 - worried about the India effect/bias.
Funnily enough I did the same a while ago at 1.14.
Odds weren't shifting much at all and I thought there'd be a chance of a tail end partnership staying in for enough to hold the odds low.
Added more to my ltd draw earlier at high odds and letting it ride. High liability but seeing India struggle to really take hold of an innings gave me confidence Bang won't do enough to get runs on the board for a draw to be an option

two lays happy to do for double the odds
LAY SCORCHERS 1.1 want 1.22
will re lay 1.05 want 1.10 if happens -
LAYING IND 1.29 after that Pujara wicket and lunch 6 overs away ish
-
NZ W Domestic comp chasing team went under 1.10 now they are 2.10
This could be a fruitful comp to follow -

Getting involved now at 1.03, hoping Williams can get bat on ball at least!
Or gets out LBW for a duck... hmm. Could be a whitewash coming here.

Another thing i do is check the graph for odds ranges. If you're thinking a T20 side is "flying" and can only come down in price, check the graph. If they're currently sat at the lowest price they've ever been it's tempting to be a mug punter and lump on (follow the money)... however that hardly ever works in T20s. If i see a team is at an all time low, especially in the first innings, cos they've had a strong powerplay for example, you're better to lay, or wait for the price to drift back out.

Eng women opening up at 1.1 for a lay right now
WI chosen to bat first.
So far this series I have done well. First match laid at 1.08 to 1.16, second one was 1.04 lay and i split the backs between 1.08 and 1.12 just for a bit extra. Other 2 i didn't get involved just due to the timing.
Windies unlikely to win so you're pretty safe putting all profits on the England side of the market and scratching the Windies.
Windies lineup is not at full strength though. I'll wait a couple of overs as if Matthews falls the odds will fly in.

@gavin-rumsey its personal preference but i have 2 approaches.
My number 1 rule with my cricket trading is i have to be following it - e.g. live commentary on espn minimum. Not just in the background, but actively focused on it.
Once that's established its one of these 2 styles:
-
if just following commentary, queue the back to give me the profit i desire, usually a minimum of 50% stake (e.g. £20 liability, £10 profit at worst)
-
if watching the match live, I'll have betfair up on my phone so i can make a call based on what i can see happening and then exit when i want.
I do all my trading on my phone, no software etc.

@nathan-bennett partly blind??
I got very lucky I checked the odds. Had assumed they weren't rising again and it was dead. Small stakes but good to build the bank as proof of concept/confidence for sure

@gavin-rumsey did this occasion as partly blind haha [email protected] lay [email protected] back
Just small fry take it !!!!
