Re laying 1.12
Stake back on the 1.12 lay @1.20another wicket couple dot balls be huge

Lay Pak at 3 and took some out at 6. Hopefully let that run until end of NZ innings
Then looking to lay NZ under 2 -

DRAW be 1.01 tonight hahaBacked NZ 2.48
Certainly looks like another flat track already.
Now, last test I made a loss because I laid the draw far too high and it never got near it again, and I said on here something like "laying Pakistan after the first innings was the call". Therefore, assuming it follows a similar trend, I'll say now, laying NZ after their innings should be the right call... hopefully this rings true, mistakes are learnt from, and in 5 days time I'll be talking about a nice green number.

I am absolutely keeping an eye on dominant favs odds on in first INNS for a massive lay if happens
Especially if it’s a road earlyYeh I'll look to lay the fielding side 1st dig

@stuart-wallace-0 exactly what I had picked out earlier when reading.
I'd like to think both teams will want to try and win the series...
If the new ball gets seen off i think there could still be first innings runs to be had.
For now I'm staying out and will see what I wake up too. Happy to take higher lay odds later if the evidence is there that wickets will continue to fall over the test

@bruce-lum so many things can say about this strategy
The easiest one is
Don’t think just bet
Or
one thing before joining I heard a lot from the guys was to
observe the market sit on your hands and learn how it reacts etc get a feel an understanding for human behaviour , and for when the market hits these 1.10 areas what it takes for it to spike to a 1.20 or 1.30 like a wicket then a couple of dot balls , or a 6 hit followed by quick twos or another boundary
Overtime learning the players and the state of match will be a key aswell to help support yourself applying the strategy with even more confidence (that would go for any entry point and any odds)
There’s no exact science as to when you get out of a trade after entering , will eventually come down to what you feel is right and what your happy with
Feel free to private msg myself or any of the guys on here pick our brains all learn together
So so much can be saidGreatest thing I love around these entries is how much you can get set for
Millions of dollars floating around
It’s the best -

How does everyone feel about the 1.1 strategy ?
Do you agree with my comment about it works (to 1.2 at least) 8 times out of 10 ?
Any thoughts / improvements? Applause to @Nathan-Bennett and @matt-ayles who have driven this forward - think this could be a real go-to strategy if it isnt already.
I just recently found out about this strategy from this forum.
I would be interested in hearing about other traders' views on the following:
-
do you hedge out of the position or leave the profit on the favourite?
-
are there any situations where you would not lay at 1.10, e.g. late in the second innings.
-
do you always lay at 1.10 and exit at 1.20, or are there times when you will extend the exit above 1.20?

I love this strategy. I'm very much up with this. My losses have come more often from straying away from this than it losing...

I definitely think not being too greedy is important on the 1.1 strategy. I typically get out as soon as i can, but sometimes remove half liability at 1.2 if i think it'll go 1.4 etc.
Today however, laid at 1.14 between innings, exit at 1.31 (appreciate it went higher but i queued the 1.31 just in case i missed a brief peak in the odds).
Good start to new year though.

@stuart-wallace-0 if I'd had any sizeable stake I think I'd have got at in the 1.3s and bottled waiting.
Took the small green and didn't go back in as I'm often guilty of overtrading. But that 2nd innings looked a prime chance to lay after each wicket and take a bounce as the pitch was obviously a good batting track.
One of those where in my head I called about 4 more good trades/entries but didn't want to risk the green I'd made albeit small.
It's the classic of spotting 'good' trades and then next game those spots are losers lol

@stuart-wallace-0 it’s just p**s atleast throw it back in to a fielder that’s not left the field of play
