Another thing i do is check the graph for odds ranges. If you're thinking a T20 side is "flying" and can only come down in price, check the graph. If they're currently sat at the lowest price they've ever been it's tempting to be a mug punter and lump on (follow the money)... however that hardly ever works in T20s. If i see a team is at an all time low, especially in the first innings, cos they've had a strong powerplay for example, you're better to lay, or wait for the price to drift back out.

Eng women opening up at 1.1 for a lay right now
WI chosen to bat first.
So far this series I have done well. First match laid at 1.08 to 1.16, second one was 1.04 lay and i split the backs between 1.08 and 1.12 just for a bit extra. Other 2 i didn't get involved just due to the timing.
Windies unlikely to win so you're pretty safe putting all profits on the England side of the market and scratching the Windies.
Windies lineup is not at full strength though. I'll wait a couple of overs as if Matthews falls the odds will fly in.

@gavin-rumsey its personal preference but i have 2 approaches.
My number 1 rule with my cricket trading is i have to be following it - e.g. live commentary on espn minimum. Not just in the background, but actively focused on it.
Once that's established its one of these 2 styles:
-
if just following commentary, queue the back to give me the profit i desire, usually a minimum of 50% stake (e.g. £20 liability, £10 profit at worst)
-
if watching the match live, I'll have betfair up on my phone so i can make a call based on what i can see happening and then exit when i want.
I do all my trading on my phone, no software etc.

@nathan-bennett partly blind??
I got very lucky I checked the odds. Had assumed they weren't rising again and it was dead. Small stakes but good to build the bank as proof of concept/confidence for sure
-
@gavin-rumsey did this occasion as partly blind haha [email protected] lay [email protected] back
Just small fry take it !!!! -
So are you guys queuing your back bets after a 1.1 lay and therefore deciding what odds you'll take immediately or waiting for the swing before you trade out?
I'm just using the Betfair app. Any using software?

Pure luck. Had walked out to make some toast. Quick check and 1.21
Shame I'm on tiny stakes lol

wow what happened haha 1.16 matched winning !!!! drink more

I'll be hoping they very slowly build the innings for a 1.1 at about 6.30am when my kids come piling in!

IND BANG
I’ve got some nice green
Also semi blind at the mo haha
I see they 1.2 ish starting there INNS
1.10 ish is auto lay for me for a swing -
I'm gonna let my ltd run.
If India go big then might only need one more innings with big score pressure on bang
If Ind do struggle then it's game on anyway
Expecting the wicket will worsen day 4 or 5 so things will speed up and already and 10 wickets in a day
Was wondering if India start well there might be a lay of them to be had in a bit?

coming back to tests... with the Oz weather this year, and the Geelong wicket yesterday, i am guessing the MCG may well be another green top for the boxing day test.
And it probably needs to be an absolute road to avoid a draw with the 2 bowling line ups

@stuart-wallace-0 Am currently in the leafy north shore at St Ives but previously have been at Lindfield, Waterloo, Alexandria, Double Bay, Woollahra to name a few.

@stuart-wallace-0 A few light showers passing and them should be clear for the rest of the night.
I am in Sydney. -

Definitely on point 1
I'm.working on point 2!

Couple more wickets today would leave me feeling confident.Break on this partnership should be a big step forward
Aside from trying to make money I love the fact I now follow cricket which I bloody love
-
Can't copy and paste but quote from Cricinfo about the pitch.
'Its been lively, offering sideways movement for seamers and spin'
Add that to 4 wickets in the first half of day 1 where batting should be easiest.
For me, ltd is a go.
