Oath s**t bowling rate
Any draw layers yetSo much money queued to back draw
That 3.25 looked tempting then wicket
Using all draw green to flip and lay now -
23 overs in a session is pretty shoddy.
-
Looks like any rain is going to be rather less than predicted yesterday. But with the pitch looking good for batting, the draw price is coming down quite quickly. Still keeping an eye on the radar, in case the rain does arrive and force the price down still further.
-
A lot of money wanting to back this draw
Did the old draw back to lay to kick off
Some equity draw market now -

Looks really interesting mate. I've not used software before but it seems there is great potential there.
If it overcomes a jumpy move post toss it'll be great. Guess decent liquidity is key to keeping things smooth.

Thanks Richard, nice summary. Which weather site are you using for NZ?

The picturesque Bay Oval at the foot of Mount Maunganui is the setting for the first Test between England and New Zealand tomorrow (1am UK time) and traders should be taking a serious look at draw prices on the opening day.
Some reports are forecasting quite a bit of rain on day one, with the danger of thunderstorms, and if they materialise I can see some more of those Test match big swings in the offing.
Currently the draw is priced around 5, but in early trading it has been as low as 2.8. Heavy rain tomorrow and it could easily plunge back close to its previous low, at which point a lay of the draw would offer great value.
The rest of the match should be pretty much rain free and, let's face it, England just don't do draws do they?
All three matches played at this venue have produced emphatic wins, including - extremely surprisingly - an eight wicket win for unfancied Bangladesh last year.
I'll be happy to lay the draw at anything under 4, and will be doubling up if the price falls below 3.
The rain radar in New Zealand has nearly always been very accurate in my experience, so it's well worth keeping it open in your browser.
My only problem is that there's every chance I'll be fast asleep while it's all happening!

I'm thinking IRE W can roll PAK
ive just had a small set and forget Back of IRE for now
see if can wake early enough for back end match -
Nice stuff
Got a green on windies with ltd as they collapsed today. Picked up greens on psl and bpl as well. All small but slowly building and both the t20s on low risk too which was nice

Tomorrow's WT20 is probably a total whitewash so I've queued up a lay at 1.01 pre match just incase it gets matched before the first ball, and maybe i can get 1.02 in play... don't want to lay at 1.02 as I'm genuinely concerned that even 1.03 might be a stretch lol.
Someone's taken the 1.01 lay pre match... fingers crossed the 1.02 lands although might be a stretch!
Landed. Happy days.
Also forgot the PSL was starting but made my green there too. Positive day.

Any ballsy WI layers ha
-
Weather radar seems to have the rains passing by south of Bulawayo now. Play starting in 20mins. Would be good to see WI declare…
-
A WI declaration would be awesome
Lay 1.10 ish rain make millionsThought this through ha
-
Delayed start in Bulawayo so a slight drift on Windies. There's quite a bit of rain in the vicinity and there's a danger of thunderstorms for the next few hours. Likely to be an on-off day and if I were the WI captain, I'd declare straight away and try to skittle the brittle Zims batting out for a second time.

Looks to be more rain in an hour or so, then a few hours dry. Maybe a chance of some play after lunch depending on whether they can dry the outfield enough. Forecast has a good chance of rain again around 5pm.
