Surprised to see England's odds shortening, considering sides batting second have won 11 of the last 14 ODIs played here. Guess it's traders hoping for a fast start from Roy and Malan - not a strategy I would favour. Adopting a wait-and-see policy to begin with.

It was. I followed quite closely. It was one of those where the chase was straightforward but at no point in either innings could anyone accelerate. So India realised this and managed themselves over the line.

In hindsight the 1.02/1.03 lay was on over and over as there was always going to a wicket or low scoring over around the corner.

    Interesting one.

England set a total that's 70 runs higher than the best successful chase at this venue... yet appear to be struggling? Are England really that bad?

According to the radars, there is 0 chance of rain in either SA or Melbourne... fingers crossed.

    @stuart-wallace-0 nice stuff

Is there potential that the market sits at 1.11. Then after a wicket drops to 1.07 say. In one sweep in lays and triggers the stop loss?

Market had it right. Glad I resisted the temptation to get involved.

Anyone trading the BPL game? Seems mad to me that Sylhet are as low as 1.45 when they're chasing a pretty decent target of 175.

I jumped in earlier backing cc

Hoping a swing is on the way...

Big Green , thank you Lord - starting to think that the Trading Lords had a curse over me, i needed that.

And another reasonable green with the Sixers - maybe i've done my 'time' with the Trading gods ?!

    Hopefully!

Was a decent match to trade, i made some green there.

@stuart-wallace-0 Sixers won the toss, chose to bat, i saw a move of 2.26 into 2.2 at that point. It then bounced back out by match start.

Did you see the result of this match? I wasn't following but imagine the swings would have been wild.

EDIT : Houston, we have a problem, as suspected the early England Back was caused by the TSL kicking in early (probably caused by odds bouncing around and the price drifting by 2 points in the middle).
So, i am going to remove the Trailing element of the SL for the next match, and see if that 'works' - not ideal, but at least it will prove the concept works. Then maybe we can adjust the SL tick to be 2 instead of 3 thus giving a total potetoial loss of 4 rather than 6 ticks.

if you want some help trialing this id be happy enough to set up a bot as well to trial variables.....could try one with SL on and one off or try different tick ranges to see if one is better than the other etc.....

been wondering for a while what the best technique would be to test these things out on sports where opportunities are more limit and the best idea i can come up with is collaboration

England chasing a total that would be the highest chase at this ground.

NZ set an above par total too.
