It must be weather related... accu-weather has minimum 60% chance of rain on all 5 days (suggests thunderstorms).

What's the drainage like at Mirpur? Is a thunderstorm going to flood the ground?

Ah yes, doh, it does help if i look at the weather forecast for Mirpur Bangladesh and not Mirpur Pakistan !!

@Matt-Ayles Cheers Matt, strange how different weather apps get it so variable.

I found this article, however it was from 2008 !....
'The Shere Bangla Mirpur Stadium became Bangladesh's sixth, and the world's 95th, Test venue in May 2007. It is fondly known as the "The New Home of Bangladesh Cricket" and is shaped like a rectangle as it was originally meant to serve as a football and athletics ground. The stadium also sports the biggest furniture market in Dhaka.

The ground boasts the best drainage system in the sub-continent with some claiming that "15 - 20 minutes" are all you need to drain the field after some of the heaviest rainfall in Bangladesh.'

    Draw 2.3’s before day 1

Strange. Checked weather and it says rain on Thursday, but clear for the other days.
Checked recent results, and there have been zero draws in last 11 games there.

ENG v AUS - rain now predicted for all day Sunday, and a bit of rain for Monday too.

@stuart-wallace-0 did you manage a small lay at 3.5? Hope so, as I see it's now 6! If this match ends in a draw then I'm a Dutchman's Uncle (I'm not, by the way).

I found this video from Peter Webb interesting re crossmatching (Virtual bets) on Betfair - shows that liquidity is maybe not as we know it , Jim.

@Richard-Futter is it just Asian money wanting India to win? As it makes no sense!

Thats the way i see it. Trading India games always contains very strange prices- i tend to steer clear of them as nothing seems to go as 'normal'.

Edgbaston this coming Friday - weather looks good the first 3 days at least - can see most of the Ashes tests only lasting a max of 4 days tbh.
EDG is an England stronghold, good choice to have it as first Test instead of Lords which always raises the game of the opposition.
Current LTD is 5.6 which i see as good value under Bazball with decent weather.
There is also a 4 day ashes Test at Trent Bridge starting 22nd June with the girls.
Also a Test BAN v AFG next week, but cant find a market on Betfair.

Amazing wicket that. Bring all the fielders up to make him swing, he swings and skies it...

If you're a batter, and you see the field coming in you must know its a trap?! Why swing?

Sometimes it's just too easy. Who on earth was backing India at under 5 this morning? True price around that time about 20's by my reckoning. Whoever they are, bless their little hearts!
