@Matt-Ayles Simple - no replacement allowed. Only applies in the case of concussion.

This short ball stuff is dreadful. Umps really should do something about it. And why no new ball? Mike Brearley is in the stands. Perhaps he could come on to skipper for a couple of hours!

Englands bowling attack just doesn't seem to be able to create chances... I've loved Jimmy his whole career but surely it's old peoples home time? Tongue has been the pick so far, so get him and Broad on.

And why not try a spinner? Give Root the ball!

Unfortunately, as entertaining as Bazball is, Australia are likely to embarrass us this series unless something changes.

@Nathan-Bennett i totally missed the Windies match too. Such an easy lay spot but never mind. There may be a similar chance this evening with the Eng W... weathers good at Edgbaston.

@Martin this for me may be the only remaining entry point beyond the green I've already locked in. If England start a chase of 400 or so with 60-0 they may come in to a very silly price, at which point a lay of England would be very attractive.

yeah, draw seems to be coming in a bit, OZ looking to be a bit more expansive.
Lead currently 260ish, so prob 300 by lunch, then 400 by tea - can see a poss declaration hour before EOP with 460/470 lead.

Continuing with my AUS 1.4 lay

LAY all draw green below 6 next plan ... ALL DRAW GREEN LAYED NOW 5.5

Then on the potential declaration watch and smash a back to lay ENG

@stuart-wallace-0 Don't forget there will be extra playing hours over the final two days to make up for the time lost yesterday, so Australia will feel time is on their side. England's ageing spearhead looked very tired yesterday and, unless there are early wickets this morning, I can see the Aussies making runs at a steady pace today and possibly setting England a record breaking run chase at tea, or just afterwards. England will certainly go for it but they'll need Root to be at his resilient best - not showing the scattergun approach he displayed in the first innings - to have any realistic chance. England are fielding the longest tail I can remember; Broad coming in at six wickets down illustrates that perfectly.

Laying the draw at 7.2 already looks a gift, but if Australia start strongly today, there's a decent chance the price will get even shorter, even though in my estimation the true odds should be around 25/1.

Have traded this game appallingly, and still showing a small red.
However, should still get a small green. - thats the beauty of trading Test Cricket.

AUS currently 220 ahead, should be 400 at least by tea tomorrow, then put ENG in with hour to go with circa 500 lead.
Else ENG bowl well and keep it down to 400.
Either way, in my eyes, there will be a result. Obviously will be if ENG are chasing 400, but scenario could be that Cummins takes
defensive view because of Bazball and just bats ENG out of it, and doesnt declare til morning of day 5.
Draw price coming in mainly coz of rain, but 2 days of full sunshine now.

Run rate bring this draw down ?
AUS could say be 280-300 ahead two days to go
Could bat on till after lunch day 4
    So
    Perception
Maybe see draw odds tumble in to lay decently in that 6-5 range some point

@Nathan-Bennett Good move. Look good bowling conditions and if England don't take three or four wickets in the next session they will only have themselves to blame. Would be nice if the draw price could come in a bit though, as there's no way there won't be a positive result in this match. Ideally a lay at around 6 would be golden.
