@Nathan-Bennett Still bright and sunny at Galle. As usual, there's been much less rain during the match than the forecast indicated. At one stage I thought the match would finish today, but the SL lower order putting in some stern resistance and the draw price has tumbled to around 5. Beginning to look a top value lay again.

Decided against an immediate lay as it was clear the draw price was crashing in - not quite sure why. Gonna lay at 2.5.

Quite fancy a lay of the draw at 3. First two days should be clear and the price can easily drift quite a bit during that time.

@Nathan-Bennett Looks like being a wet weekend in Manchester, but with the way of things these days the match could almost be over by then. The last eight matches at Old Trafford have all ended in positive results so no surprise that the draw remains the least likely of the three possible outcomes.

@Nathan-Bennett Not quite a dead rubber as England can still square the series, even though they obviously can't regain the Ashes. From what I've seen, I would say they're far from downhearted and will be eager to go out with a bang. For me it's another 50/50 call, so a back around 2.4 is sound value. I'll be very surprised if they don't trade odds on at some stage of the match.

Interesting this from the outlook as normally with AUS having locked away the main prize i'd normally be in the ENG camp however ENG could easily be deflated from the ashes being out of reach
Think my first move is too watch out for partnerships and go against any dominate fav in the first INNS for a swing and try and make a buck -
