Gees draw market too good there trimming on the wicket
And pure genius Carey
-
@Nathan-Bennett Me too, have taken my small Green and just gonna watch the game now hoping for a Headingley repeat.
Not the best at Trading this game, Backed when i should have Layed, and vice-versa. However, just gonna watch the game unless
ENG price gets really low. -
IF say stokes is still there when if duckett and bairstow get out
peanut on the draw @millions maybe good for a swing -
@Matt-Ayles 1.01 lol
-
Imagine what the price would be if these 2 made it to lunch?!
-
Couldn't resist it - another ENG lay at 4.3
-
scalping on trusting the skipper
beauty there -
I've got one more AUS LAY in me on next wicket try and get 10 ticks ish
1.05-1.15 styles
otherwise i'll just take what i've gotmass amount of test matches world wide in coming weeks
-
Gutted in the womans format that the test was first such a long road for any team to recover from going down 4 points .. sickening AUS found a way last night
Surely ENG can muster a victory or two remaining games
good games to trade AUS SP always be short -
I've hedged out across all three outcomes but sorely tempted by another lay of ENG if the price comes down towards 5
-
Cooks just called it a 1 in a 100 chase and that's being generous.
Reckon he's probably more right than my 12+
Who is back eng at 7s???
-
I'd say this is huge longshot for eng. They need almost as much as aus scored in their second innings with 4 down and less depth in their batting line up.
The doubt the odds show is that stokes or bairstow could produce something very special. However 7s might be right against a different team, the aus attack will be very hard to take apart though.
I'd put Eng more at 12+.
But what do I know. Stokes/bairstow are probably 2 of a small group of batters you'd want in this situation
Shame 4 went down yesterday. If it was only 2 it'd be a really interesting morning!
Edit: the papers calling for a stoke miracle say enough lol

I can see the argument for not out. Have seen many times the ball pops back out when the elbows hit the ground on the way down and this has always been not out. By pushing the ball down in to the ground Starc's getting rid of that risk. A lot of players and former players saying should be a catch though, so maybe the rule needs looking at.
-
@Martin You're quite right. Law says: "The act of making a catch shall start from the time when the ball first comes into contact with a fielder’s person and shall end when a fielder obtains complete control over both the ball and his/her own movement."
Starc did not have complete control of his own movement when the ball touched the ground, so there's no question at all NOT OUT!
Very very tough for England still, but I do think they have a genuine chance if they can get a couple of productive partnerships. Two quick wickets though and it's all over. Broad coming in with just 6 wickets down makes for a very long and fragile tail. I would say the Betfair odds have it pretty much right as it stands.
-
@Nathan-Bennett were you out or not out camp? I think that's not out personally, went to ground without hand under it before making any other movement
