nz worldcup winner rate is 10.50,, if we back nz 100 point,outcome will be 950 point,,& we back india in 1.40 with 250 point outcome will be 100 point.than india wins we loose nothing but if nz wins we wil have 950-250=700 point in final match with nz. so there we can back any of team. hope i am right in this calculation..any suggestion?

Right, we're at the sharp end of the tournament now, and I'm hoping NZ win the toss and bat.
In that case I will be backing India straight away as the Kiwis' opening partnerships have been dismal in recent weeks with both openers badly out of form.
Then could be the time to get out after a wicket or two before getting a small lay on India in the hope Williamson can deliver the goods.
Hard to see anything other than an India win ultimately. NZ will have to perform well above recent standards and India will need to badly underperform for us to get a surprise here.
But India can be complacent at times - as we saw when they almost lost to Afghanistan. So it's by no means a foregone conclusion.
Let's hope it's a good, tight semi final.

Just a word on the women's match today. I'm backing Australia at 1.5. England have never successfully chased more than 243, and they'll have a bigger target than that today.

@martin-futter ireland taking plenty of wickets, 2 wins in last week against zim and last one was very tight, 3 wickets gone and ire down to 1.4 but liquidity poor so not sure if worth getting in

A reminder of yesterday's stat - only twice in the entire history of one day international cricket has a team scored 100 in the last 10 overs to win a match. The Aussies needed 99 from the last 10!
