Draw price spiked 900's now 60's
Spew didn't have that foresight ha -
Any thoughts on an acceptable price to lay BAN?
I can't see them chasing the 211 they currently need. Would expect a total of at least 250 by the time they bat.
Lay currently at 8.0, would like to lay lower just incase batting gets easier but SRI bowlers have looked much better so far so wondering if it will get much lower?

I just haven't got involved in this test, draw price never got low enough for my style. Been using low stakes on the 20% profit aim strategy on IPL team batting first, so far so good. Not been waiting for 20% though, just monitoring it and jumping in and out as a scalping type trade.

Not a great one this so far for me but
laying more SRI 1.09 anything in the 1.3's if happens 75% stake / red back -

Couldn't post as was working, managed to get SRI lay at 1.25, took the liability out at 1.4. Was hoping for a decent BAN response to take the stake out. Not looking likely at the moment though. but will hold it and see.
Will give it a few overs in the morning and if BAN look like they fancy it, will lay SRI. Chances are the watchman will go early so price should contract a little more early on.
layed at 1.16 - took half out at 1.26.
Was going to hold the rest until after lunch but with Das gone, just took the green for now as I'm not expecting much from the tail.
Not sure there is much more at the moment unless BAN get close from here -

Layed Sl at 1.17, hoping to get to 1.37

@Nathan-Bennett Yes, its something i look out for, especially with players who dont have a lot of centuries to their name. Its a release , almost like you've passed the finishing line.

SRI BANG
How often players approach / get milestones then get out
A lot -
SRI BANG
Trades in trouble somewhat
1.28 GEES cant back that Laying some more(will take stake back 1.5 if happens and be back in good position-else so be it if one way traffic against)
If draw hits 9-8's will lay all the green on that side -
@Fraser-cord Backed some SRI 2.2's ... this partnership bossing it at the mo but i cant have two's on so early in a test so laying some more SRI 1.5
-
@Nathan-Bennett Just don't know what to do when the 1st few hours go like that. Hard to be confident at all

@Stuart-Wallace That sucks, was hovering around 7 yesterday. Hopefully get a decent start by the side batting 1st, get it down to an acceptable range to lay.
So that went to plan

SRI BANG
Hesitated SRI 1.6 eyed a lay didn’t now 3 down
Have had a SRI lay 1.75 for a start to test
...

Yep, BAN v SRI - Cricinfo seems to think rain is due on days 2 and 5 - but game likely to be over by day 5 tbh. LTD Price not very appealing though , currently hovering around 10.

AUS BANG W
Massive AUS LAY 1.05
Trusting the ball here
If trade goes well could be a green up toward end of AUS batting INNS
...
Half stake back 1.10
...
All stake back now 1.32
Try hold till end INNS
...
Nice trading INNS happy days left a bit more green on BANG side and square up if do well first 6-10 overs in chase
Funds for tmr -
I see BAN vs SRL starts on Friday. Stats at the venue suggest very few draws (2nd test venue seems to be draw central though). A bit of conflicting weather on days 3-4 but hopefully get some draw lays in below 5.0 early on Day 1. Don't tend to get huge stoppages due to rain in the sub continent so hopefully plenty of time for a result, fingers crossed.

@Tony-Hastie @Stuart-Wallace , totally agree with your assessment. For me, its way more profitable than scalping on other sports, but the time aspect vs 1 error setting you back miles is just not for me.
I took a reset over New year and decided to trade nothing but only monitor 'obvious trades' I would of made vs I need to trade on every game every day. Yes I missed a few great opportunities in tests (and there's not huge numbers of them over the next 6-9 months) but It stopped the urge of 'there's a match today, need to slowly build my bank again.' Also I would then go 'if I miss a game today, that's a missed opportunity' so I do something silly next time to 'make up' for it, and it costs me more.
So in short, scalping is definitely not for me, but i have no doubt there is money to be made given how predictable cricket markets are most of the time. The problem I find, its so dependent on the next ball. If the ball after a wicket is a dot, the price continues to move fast, if there's any score, it goes the opposite way.
Im sticking to tried an tested - LTD in tests, lay teams chasing crazy totals after a good start. Laying 1.1 or under in matches with a long way to go, looking for a rise to 1.2 area, @Nathan-Bennett seems to have great success with that.
