@dave-jessop Pretty sure they can play through to 7 pm today
I think this applies to all 4 days

@richard-futter yeah I think 2.1 looks way too low. How many test matches in England actually go to 5 days in recent history?
I took a position at 1.87 yesterday which I’m sure I’ll be able to capitalize on at some point today. -
@richard-futter load

Interesting stat I picked up from the radio this morning: In the last seven Test matches where the whole of the first day's play was abandoned, there was a positive result in every game. Surely a draw lay at 2.1 is a no-brainer.

There is going to be a break in the weather soon. Don't think they'll get much, if any, play before the rain starts again though.
-
@jalpesh-madlani not sure what caused the drift. Maybe new weather information?
-
@simon what was that about?
-
Draw now on the drift. Up to 2.14
-
@josh-shaw tv annoying when show replays other games when rain on . could watch the rain all day
-
@nathan-bennett started raining over there too
-
meanwhile in srilanka draw 5.2-3.8 blink of eye on ..quitting work tmr ha
-
@richard-futter there was going to be an inspection at 11 but started to spit just enough to can that.

@jonathan-mcdaid Still around 1.88. Could go a little lower, but I wouldn't discourage anyone from laying at that price if they fancy it. Lord's is one of the best drying grounds in the world, and we're almost certain to get a full day's play tomorrow. Will be very surprised if the price doesn't go quite a bit higher before end of play on Thursday.
Also, while Friday afternoon might be wet, the forecast for the weekend is improving all the time.
Looking at the radar, I wouldn't rule out some play later today. Depends how risk-averse the umpires decide to be. But I really don't see this match ending in a draw. Neither side is geared up for batting out draws - and that especially applies to England, who have not drawn any of their last 16 Test matches.
