@paul-keighley Exactly that, you are getting the draw onside, atleast limiting liability against the draw, can be tough watching the market shorten quick on the draw, just worth remembering that most of subcontinent are betting on the draw.

Same here. If England don't get a wicket in the first couple overs after lunch then think I'm just going to lay England. Essentially betting on Aus getting another 60 ish with Smith in against an old ball, as agree with Luke that anything over 200 is going to be so so tough. Plus we have the draw onside too in case of a random thunderstorm.

I’m at Edgbaston and according to the met office the abysmal weather that was due tomorrow now looks like it’s gone. It is saying 50% chance of a thunderstorm at 4pm and 10% at 5pm. Nothing tomorrow however so rain shouldn’t be a factor.

and believe Aus will be fine getting there, as painful as it is. There is enough batting there to get there, would like a full bank lay on Eng if the chase is 250.

If Aus have 200 or more, i do think it's too tough a chase.

@nathan-bennett yeah the batting strategy has come up trumps again here, next trade may just be at end of innings so i know where the value lies, draw is a little in play here if only because the scoring has been slow so far this test.

Really wish we had a reliable weather forecast at times like this! The ball turning square out of the footholes that Lyon will absolutely exploit and the draw hovering around 4.0!
