I think England can save this match today. The pitch is doing nothing for the seamers and although the ball is turning, it's only do so very slowly.
My play is to wait for the ball to soften up - somewhere between 20-25 overs - then lay Australia or back the draw, as long as there's a settled pairing in the middle.
The only thing I would say is that I'm already in a very good position with a healthy profit locked in, but if I wasn't I'd be very wary of staking big on the final day as there's no coming back if things go wrong. And England do love a batting collapse.
Will post as soon as I move in.

Any plays for the morning?

Heck of a bounce-back that. Managed to lay England at 5.8 when Smith was out. Now 13.5 at tea.

@richard-futter Here comes the drift

I do think England are an easy lay, looking at any other team other than India and you would say it would be 18s right now.
Considering no team has ever got close to chasing this in the fourth innings at Edgbaston, you're spot on!
-
Might be a chance to lay England at silly prices later this evening or tomorrow. You just know that if they even reach 10-0 their price will come crashing in - happens every time.

@martin-futter mate I’ve made a rookie mistake and probably shouldn’t be trading matchesI’m working on.
I laid the draw at the start of the test (won’t make that mistake again in England) and panicked a little thinking this deck was too flat for a result and cashed out. Should I lay England now despite the odds or just take the loss and live and learn? Can't really understand what went wrong. If you layed the draw around 8 at the start, the price pretty much went out very quickly and went as high as 40+. Lots of chances to green up. I wouldn't be chasing losses by laying at high prices. There's four Tests to go - plenty of opportunities for big profits.

I've never seen such poor umpiring as there's been in this match.
-
There has been some pretty ordinary bowling today.
-
What is Root doing there
-
Exactly Luke. I thought they were 10/1 at 3.0!
-
@james-woodroffe Plenty in this deck for a result.
-
England now 25/1 shots in my mind.

Even If they got Smith out, Aussies are still gonna be 250+ ahead and England have never done that kinda Last innings against the old enemy
Is that right? Was looking for a list of England's best ever run chases but couldn't find one.
