@james-woodroffe I always wait to see two batsmen settled in at the crease before employing this strategy. One wicket often brings two in Test match cricket.
-
Quick question does the strategy of backing the batting team when they lose a wicket work for test cricket as well as T20 cricket? Looking at other strategies for this Oval test match other than laying the draw. Cheers and happy Greening.
-
@kenneth-glossop yeah easy thought
wicket - lay the bowling team
boundary - lay the batting team -
@nathan-bennett
I see, so when a wicket falls for the batting side then I take it you would back them as the price will drift and then come back on? Thanks -
@kenneth-glossop YES after all its a game of two halves and what have you got to lose
-
@kenneth-glossop 100% and wickets . Again its a bit of an art to the timing aspect of it but very do able successfully

@nathan-bennett
Hi thanks for advice, so is it best then to lay when the boundary hits? So I take it then that usually the market overreacts to the boundary right? -
So I’m wondering, in T20 or one day cricket, if the favourite bats first and goes to silly odds like 1.04, is it worth laying before the underdog bats? I noticed that usually the favourites odds will drift fir at least a few ticks? Maybe a quick in and out lay bet?

back draw lay afghan could be free money if can get reliable updates/vision

@nathan-bennett Good advice, trading over reactions, also wickets should work too but backing instead of laying, of course you get the Malinga situation once in a while
@luke-ridger luke one more question you are suggesting to back that team which took wicket or which lost wicket??

@luke-ridger sorry if this is a dumb question mate, your back the chase strategy at +3.00 is that for when the chasing team are actually in or can they also be in the field and their odds are +3.00 as a result of what the team batting first are doing?
Cheers.Normally i look to back at the innings break.

Thinking drip backing aus if hits around 1.8.., I should stay quiet haha great pill
-
Nice positive start today by England and perfect conditions to save a test. Still feel Oz hold upper hand but fascinating day shaping up.
