@james-woodroffe yep... draw crashing in like there's no tomorrow. That will change very quickly indeed if a wicket falls, but at this stage of the match that becomes nothing much more than a gamble.
-
England now over 2.00
-
Just had a look at the tied match market; didn't really think anyone would bet on that at all, but turns out that over £4,000 has been wagered on a tie at 100/1.
Considering there have been only two tied matches in over 2,300 Test matches played, those with massive banks can almost literally print money. 1% is a very good rate of interest over 5 days

Epic finish looms

Sam Curran again makes something happen.
Yes, but can't believe they didn't capitalise by bringing on our greatest ever wicket taker immediately afterwards. Anderson hasn't bowled since lunch which seems amazing. I can only think he has some kind of injury or illness.
Draw coming in towards evens now. Still think England will win but it's a bit late in the game for me to get heavily involved.

Awful first over with it..... I'm holding fire.
-
New ball taken. Surprised Curran is taking it.
-
With lunch only ten minutes away, they may well delay taking the new ball until after lunch.... should be worth backing England then, if you don't mind a relatively short price.
-
@richard-futter surely .. was ready to pull the trigger too

wicket too soon ha
Yeah.... not expecing that from FAF. England surefire winners now I reckon.

Just 4 overs to the new ball. The first ten overs with it will decide the match I reckon - and if Anderson and Broad are at their best it's going to be very difficult for the SA batsmen.
-
@richard-futter 10 overs time I should be almost at my hotel and settled for the evening. Agree on De Kok and I keep reminding myself this SA team is not very good.
-
Will be backing England when we get towards the second new ball in ten overs' time. Every chance of a couple of wickets then - exposing a brittle lower order. De Kock is a great attacking player but I don't see him batting out time in the manner of an Atherton or Boycott.
-
Shaping up now as a very exciting day 5. I think I could be up late as long as my hotel has Fox Sports.

@shaun-halse already drip laying from 5.8,needs few early morning wickets now.
-
Draw now at 3!!!
-
South Africa need a record breaking 438 to win, and with just 17 on the board they're tumbling towards single figures... I feel some serious drip laying is in order.
