How is everyone reading this test match in Manchester? Draw now hovering around 3.00 and Oz around 2.05. I can’t get a gauge on this Manchester weather but my gut is telling me there’s still plenty of time for a result.
I’m just waiting for the right time to get in to lay the draw. Probably around 2.5 later today during a shower most likely. Agree plenty of time to get a result here, Lyon will get plenty of spin last couple of days

@simon-miller loved it last year will be involved again !

@josh-shaw Looks reasonably okay; happy to lay the draw at anything around the 3 mark or below

@sameer had a look but you cannot really tell

@jalpesh-madlani no real idea of forecast to say

Looking at the radar, doesn't seem like there'll be any significant rain. An odd short shower or two. Even so, the pitch looks much slower than expected, so I could easily see the draw price shorten during the afternoon session.
-
Rain due after lunch which could mess with the day but nothing expected in the first session.
-
@nathan-bennett it was hammering it down in the early hours of the morning, its cloudy at the moment with no rain though..
-
any rain yesterday leading up to today , delay start possible ? that's always a market watch when the world see the covers on

@josh-shaw This one looks difficult to call at the moment, because it looks like there will be rain about in the first three days (in Manchester? Surely not!).
At the moment none of the days look like a total washout and I'll still be very surprised if there isn't a positive result, but with the final two days looking set fair we could get some very tasty lay prices later in the match.
As for the eventual outcome, I think Australia should be solid favourites. They have the world's best Test Match batsman back in tow, and the magic of Stokes notwithstanding, they've been much the better side in the series so far.
If the weather plays ball, though, it should be a cracking match and hopefully will offer plenty of profitable trades.
