India laid at 2.40 that moved quickly following the toss.

Having a quick look at the Wellington test match starting tonight and wondering if laying the team who bats first is the way to play it? NZ pitches and conditions as a general rule favour the bowlers early doors and bowling first is generally the norm as opposed to batting first like everywhere else. Then it gets better to bat and there’s been some amazing knocks that have come later in the tests. Given India are 2.10 and NZ are 2.82 liability is already low. I think this is the way I’ll look to play it and expect early wickets.

Bit of a disaster for me that one. Had a nice big green and ended up with a biggish red after the early wickets.

I’m going to take a tiny bit of red on this match as I’ve now got the family home and after my attention so I can’t do both. I’ll be back later for the test and tomorrow morning for the early PSL match.

Any one who's new to T20 and in on this. A word of warning. If it's massively in your favour and you're thinking of letting it run, don't. This game can swing more than Russel Brand at a swinging convention
