2.4 to evens this morning after one over!
-
going to hold out a short while here. I have a feeling that if England don't pick up a wicket in this first 20 minutes then the draw price is going to go very short very quickly, and will then get involved. still think England win.
-
Well, the draw almost touched evens yesterday --- and good to see it drifting this morning. A wicket or two early on and we should see it shooting out very nicely. A good 14 hours of cricket to come and plenty of time for things to change; so patience will again be a virtue.

Didn't think the draw price would go back out as much as it has before tomorrow.
I'm in @2.4
Market seemed to take into account the rain early then be happy for it to keep raining! Surprised me too was hoping for shorter draw odds, apparently no rain next couple of days.

@james-woodroffe haha yeah, if the draw price is going out now then England's is coming in, and vice versa. Windies are out of it
Yeah mate I dunno why I said that I’ll put it down to being tired

I said one thing to @Eamonn-Hogan and then the complete opposite to @Simji thanks @Paul-Keighley for making me realise that.

@simji I’m surprised also mate. Maybe the consensus is the Windies can have a good day tomorrow I certainly thought it would shorten more.
Sorry @Simji ignore me I meant the opposite just had a dumb moment. It’s been a long day. Bad day not good day for the Windies

@james-woodroffe on the contrary, the draw price going back out indicates they don't think the Windies can have a good day tomorrow! I tend to agree, don't see them getting 250 personally.
Haha yeah you’re right mate it’s drifted dunno what I was thinking! Yeah I’m with you I think they struggle just didn’t think that thru did I. Glad I’ve laid it then.

If West Indies get to 300 tomorrow which Im sure they will, I cant see it not being a draw. I must be missing something.
Mate they only need a poor first session or if they find themselves at 100-4 the draw odds will shoot out. It’s an interesting one and will be a riveting days play. It’s still a 4th day deck that’s spent a whole day under covers and with the sun shining who knows how it will play.
so you reckon i should take my red
I don’t wanna be that guy mate who tells you what to do. I know cricket but I’m still relatively new to trading test matches. I’m kinda conflicted myself. I’ve taken a small Red personally and will lay the draw but it depends on your situation. If it’s hardly any red then maybe stick around. The night watchman Azzari Joseph is batting with Braithwaite tomorrow morning if they get him early doors the draw price by rights won’t move much at all. However if they get Braithwaite early that will be a big wicket for England and with Shai Hope out of form 2 down could become 3 and if it’s 3 down by lunch chasing 279 or whatever it is to avoid the follow on they’ll be under pressure and the draw price may very well show that also by ballooning out.

Likely but not necessarily its not going to be easy for them to get to 270 to avoid the follow on - England need quick wickets tomorrow morning

Draw drifted out a bit more. 2.46 to lay now

Stumps and draw price now 2.14.
I backed a draw at 2.2, it went down to 2.04. Any idea why its back at 2.34. Surely it will be a draw now?
Hey Eamonn, I think with it going back out the consensus could be that England are a big chance given the weather over the last two days. I thought the draw backers in Asia might have shortened it more today but the fact it drifted makes me think England are the value with either a win or a good enough performance tomorrow for the draw to balloon out.
-
@chris-osborne fine and sunny for the next two days but we still have 200 overs at least. I think a lay at 2.34 is worth it going into tomorrow especially if England can get Braithwaite cheaply. I’d assume given the situation if England find themselves in a position to enforce the follow on they definitely have to. If that happens we could be in a good spot tomorrow if the draw is laid or England are backed.
