Is anyone doing the PSL game? Hard to form a view with no ground history
I’m going to have a look and tread with caution mate as I’m still getting my head around t20 trading. Couple of good previews on cricinfo and wisden if that helps.

@james-woodroffe That's an insane starting price for a match. Yeah, not much to lose chucking a fiver at it
If it was against Australia then yeah maybe but the WI’s??
-
@james-woodroffe laid WI women at 1.04. Guess I'll be getting up early on Saturday then
-
Looks like Shane Watson will be starting for Quetta Gladiators in PSL. Gonna back them if they bat first

Something that has interested me and I thought I might share it re the Women’s T20 WC. Whilst I’m new to cricket trading I have worked a bit on associate cricket over the years and have been pleasantly surprised by the improvement and rise in countries obviously like Afghanistan but also Oman and Nepal to name two. Women’s cricket has yet to see that really but there’s a school of thought that that might be changing with the Thailand women’s team. The Thai girls are also getting good support from India as far as tours and helping with the evolution of the game. There has been a huge amount of money (compared to other matches) on their opening game against the WI women. In fact the Windies are 1.03 to lay for this match. Two things strike me about this the first one being is that the WI women are not very good at all and along with Pakistan would be the two weaker of the full member nations. It means possibly that mug punters are loading up on the WI or maybe traders know that it’s not a foregone conclusion. Thailand have won 17 matches in a row at associate T20I level 17! The women’s World Cup will have it’s stories and obviously Thailand will be one of them. Oz has a big Thai community so they’ll have support. Maybe they don’t win a game but will they think they can roll the WI girls? Why not. Surely that 1.03 has to be worth loading up on. I can see the headlines now.

Been watching and learning over the past few days and realising why I couldn’t get my head around T20 trading. Was trading way to much and as a result was unable to get a grasp. Have learnt so much watching these past two matches and now can’t wait to get my teeth into T20 trading. Things are always clearer when the penny drops and you can go “well no wonder you were making a dogs dinner of this before.” Did someone say PSL? The Aussies arrive in SA now also.
It's been a lot easier for me in this series 'cos I know more about the players of England and SA.
I'm gonna have to do a lot of research on PSL. I might just watch the first coupla games to get a feel for it before trading -

@rob-arkell Not India - their players are not allowed to play in any other leagues.... and certainly not in Pakistan!
Haha! Yeah, makes sense

@rob-arkell Pakistan Super League starts on Thursday - that can be very lucrative too
Sweet! Enough time to research some of the players. I'm guessin a lot of internationals from the Eastern countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka?
