last few wickets have put India slightly on top now. So I'm just sitting tight now. Plenty of twists to come I reckon.
-
England are in a decent position here with that 1st innings lead. With the lead I've just entered a few times with England priced over 2 and removed liability when hit under 2.
-
Beautifully poised here. Might need more heroics from Root to win this one though.
-
India out to 3.5. Excellent stuff.
-
@Richard-Futter crazy price considering the current conditions and 300 being a decent score
-
Been good markets this morning. Original lay of India at 1.74 touched 2.5, before coming back to it's base level. On day one the draw actually shot out to 75 at one stage and is now trading at just above 6! Shows how much things can change in Test cricket, and you can't always judge a pitch by its appearance at the start.
-
Managed a lay of India at 1.2 at lunch then removed stake at 1.45. My thoughts were that if I miss out on the India price going up even more then the LTD could come into play. Will monitor that early tomorrow.

@Richard-Futter agree surprising odds really! 300 not the end of the world is it
-
India drifting out to 1.72, so despite that first session, no real harm done today. With India having to bat last I reckon England are in a much stronger position than the odds suggest.
-
Unloading full bank lay IND any sec
Suspect market may respect this potential ENG total and drift before ball one day two
Hopefully ha
...
1.71 launched -
Root smart batting = runs
Not hard -
Things settling down a bit since lunch; might get rid of the red yet.
-
Mind you
If ENG can get 200 and the IND 1.2 price or lower is the market
Then I’m laying -
What a f*****g pitch
It’s like ok Bumrah rest let’s get mass cracks -
Great decision that. What do I know?
-
No sign of any great movement, just a little variable bounce, so having a small lay of India at 1.74
-
It's good that England have won the toss and decided to bat first, but it's difficult to know exactly how to play this until we've seen a good few overs, especially from the spinners. Because the pitch looks absolutely awful; clumps of grass, a crumbly surface and giant cracks. On looks alone, you'd guess this might well be over in three days but appearances can sometimes be deceptive.
So, if it does play rather better than it looks, a lay of India could be the play today. Gonna watch an hour or so of play first though!

IND ENG
Been a earthquake on this pitch ? -
The odds for the fourth Test at Ranchi are almost a carbon copy of those for the last match, in which India played superbly and England simply threw in the towel after two tightly contested days' cricket.
Hopefully Stokes's team will show rather more backbone this time round; even so it's hard to argue that the hosts aren't good value for their strong odds-on status.
But it's hard to know exactly how things will play out. Everyone seems to to think the pitch will be crumbly and cracked and conducive to large amounts of spin.
However, seamers have generally been the main wicket takers in the limited number of Test matches played here, and the average first innings score here is only just under 500.
So, whoever wins the toss is 100 per cent certain to bat first and, once again, their odds will tumble down immediately. The draw is currently around 10, so certainly not layable at the moment but I would be pretty certain that price will at least halve in the first couple of days.

Will ENG lock it down ?
Nope ha
