Another wicket - a vital one at that - and still not much of a market move. Very strange.

Having a little back of England at 2.22. Suns come out, these two getting settled and love batting and should build a partnership. best conditions to bat for a while. Keeping an eye on weather ready to bail/back draw soon as it deteriorates.

not going to bother staying in too long here. England and Draw prices being held up by the doubts about the weather rest of the test match so only WIndies drifting. I don't personally like to lay much at longer odds so will prob leave it for now and look for more opportunities later in the game around the weather.

Isn’t that just a bet staking money in the runs market?

Isn’t it the same as me saying Liverpool will score 3 goals tonight?

    That’s a bet not a trade I think.
I maybe wrong but it seems like a bet

Interesting debate. I have a reasonable track record of small low lays, based on research and the current match situation. Still hanging back with my main match strategy.

Seriously? So if Liverpool score early on you can't trade out and lock in a profit. don't need 3 goals. Do you question people in the football thread laying the draw late in games and letting it run. That's a bet by your definition....

This is also a tradeable market, couple quick wickets and can trade out at a higher price.
Besides, value is value, don't always have to trade out. 🤷‍♂️

Main interest for me is the Eng runs market. It you think Eng could be AO for ~250 runs, there’s massive value.

Can lay Eng at 1.2 for under 250 runs. It’s 22/1 and WI are troubling them. That’s value!

@richard-futter mate, excuse my ignorance but when you say market manipulation Is that large back bets being placed in order to keep the prices as we saw them? Or something else? Cheers.

    England shortening all the time!

Never before seen that in the opening innings of a Test match. Usually a wicket sees the batting side drift at least 20-30 ticks. Smacks of some market manipulation to me.
