Apologies if this is common knowledge but there’s a new T20 League to get excited about. The LPL (Lankan Premier League) will kick off on Nov 20 this year just 2 weeks after the IPL wraps up. The dates were moved in order to allow players with IPL sides to be able to quarantine in SL and play both leagues.

    nice,more cricket to trade,cheers mate

this will be followed by big bash & india's tour of australia.
continues opportunity for only cricket traders like me.👍

@sameer I’ve found that over the years it’s a real lottery as teams go on runs both good and bad. They lose players and gain players and every year the final 4 goes down to the wire. Way to early for me to have an opinion mate.

The result for Mumbai voided made it a scratch rather than a loss so I was happy with that 👍

@martin-futter I have a theory that A) it’s still dodgy hence why it’s great to trade and secondly with no crowds and a reliance on TV ratings for this year more so, that the majority of matches will be played on flat roads will be high scoring and will go down to the wire which is great for trading. 😉

How good is trading the IPL when you don’t forget to lay the tie. 🍻🍻

seems to happen more regularly in the IPL doesn't it! guess the teams are so well matched usually

Interesting that another team has won the toss and elected to field when the team batting first has won all but 1 of the opening IPL matches.

@rachel-murray hi Rachel, as far as I’m concerned you don’t need anything other than Cricinfo I think it’s the best hands down.

@james-woodroffe I was hoping for 160-170 runs but they surpassed that!

Which site do you find best for pre match info? I've always used Cricinfo but wonder if other sites are better?

Phenomenal innings by KL Rahul. No doubt RCB have the batting to chase down 207. Could be a great chase after yesterday’s fizzer.

    Or not.

S**t day for cricket lovers following the death of Dean Jones. I was lucky enough to be the right age for him to be a hero and boyhood idol. Watching Australia play ODI’s in the mid 80’s to early 90’s when Deano was in his pomp was something to behold. The guy revolutionised batting in the 50 over game and the modern game owes him plenty. Crazy being a kid from a small country town in Victoria watching a dude from another small country town in Victoria dominating international attacks. 59 way to young.
